Here’s your official Expendables 3 line-up: Returning Expendables Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be joined by fellow action vets Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, and Harrison Ford. New recruits include Kellan Lutz, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell. If you missed Sly’s sly Tweeting last week, Bruce Willis is out of the franchise – and how. Mel Gibson is aboard as Conrad Stonebanks, Barney’s (Stallone) ex-Expendables co-founder who’s back with a personal mission of vengeance to end the mercenary gang. Patrick Hughes (Red Hill) is directing from a script by Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt (Olympus Has Fallen) and Stallone. Filming begins today in Bulgaria with almost exactly a year until Lionsgate releases the pic on August 15.

Despite the fact that neither of the previous films blew me away, I have fun with this franchise and I look forward to watching lots of shit get blowed up real good next year.

Alright. Uhm. I can totally are Gibson kicking Sly's ass with no issue now. I do hope the film's tone is more gritty than the last one. I hated EX2 aside from the intro action bit. Much preferred the more balanced tone in EX1.

Damn. I don't remember Gibson being that ripped for any movie he was in ever. That said, Sly does love the big arms. When Van Damme was coming on last time, Sly's only advice to him was to get his arms big.

Yeah, he was never that pumped, even in his peak like when he did Braveheart (he was bigger there than in Beyond Thunderdome). He must have had some HGH assistance to get those results, especially at his current age.

Let's see how long that lasts. Remember when he shot that intro for the director's cut to EX1 while on the set of EX2. His facial hair in the finished cut of EX2 was completely different from how it was when he shot the intro.

Snipes is a member of Stallone's team. It seems he fills in for an injured Terry Crews.
Then again, this could be from a prologue where Snipes betrays the team. "Is it cold in here or is it just me?"
