I have zero interest in marathoning all the movies in a sitting or over a weekend, but I can see myself watching them slowly over the course of the month prior

Sitting down like a fat fuck may be awesome for you to do a lot but.. fuck that. I do it every once in a while but I ain't fucking sitting down for a thing like a movie marathon to the point where it is... frequent.
You're the one who didn't get it.

A marathon is called a marathon because it tests your endurance to the limits. Watching many movies in a row tests your endurance so that's why it is also called a marathon.

A 5k is challenging but not nearly to the extent of a marathon. Likewise watching only two movies in a row, which is why I called it a 5k.

You didn't get that, and then decide to start talking about speed and time and other nonsense. It's not about any of that. It's only the endurance test that matters.

And what's your problem with "sitting down like a fat fuck"? Just because you sit the majority of the doesn't make you a fat fuck. Heck, people with office jobs sit the majority of the day. They're not all fat fucks. Everyone has different hobbies or whatever. Maybe you like to constantly move around. I don't. I prefer to sit and watch TV/movies or read a book. Different strokes for different folks, man.

I have probably gone through two or three long movie marathons in a month. Also, I forgot TV marathons. I will marathon a whole TV season in one weekend. Serialized TV is especially awesome marathoning it in one weekend rather than watching one episode per week.

You're over thinking my words. You do that a lot. I just put it into the racing context cuz I could. You really shouldn't read too much into bullshit.

I wish I had the attention span to marathon anything anymore. I can't run 26.1 miles, I can't seem to sit through 10 episodes of anything in one go anymore, and I sure as fuck can't make it through more than maybe 2 movies of any series at a time.

Yeah, it's interesting how people judge others, especially ones with 30k posts on a dvd forum. If you post you marathoned season 4 of Breaking Bad it would be cool.

I couldn't even walk 26.1 miles, but I sure can sit through 26.1 hours of TV/movies. A winner is me!

so using the terms used...Avengers 1 and 2 would be more of than a marathon using what one would guess 2 has as its time limit. This is all depending on your own speed and endurance. I mean... I guess one could fat fuck it out to however many hours the MCU is during a marathon. How long do they keep those things still going? I usually just leave about an hour afterwards to get shit done.
Damn you Latinos sure can run away fast from fat white cops.

I'm going to try and re-watch all the films and one shots before Age of Ultron. I probably won't marathon them though or at least not more than a couple at a time and will probably just watch them in the month or so leading up to the new film.

That brings up a point... I know some guys that went to be cops and they were fit. At what point does the PD just allow fat cops to be a thing? I see a lot of motorcycle cops here that are fat.

But the other major rumor is that a major female character will be introduced in AoU, and that is
Spoiler:

I fucking knew it. Serkis looked too much like that guy. I'm excited to see wtf he does in this. He really doesn't get much love out of his MoCap work. The guy is a lot of fun. I enjoyed him in The Prestige as Tesla's guy.

I think a guy that once nearly lost his job because posting on DVDtalk kept him up too late at night, calling anybody lazy or making judgements on them being a "fat fuck" is pretty rich.

She has been a member of the guardians, but she also has some ties to Vision/Scarlet Witch.

I suppose if they can pass the physicals, it doesn't matter how big they are. The kevlar vest also makes people look larger than they are.

I've been less of a fan of Serkis after he downplayed the work of animators in favor of playing up his own mo-cap work. Seems decent enough of an actual actor though.

I dig it but I wish they'd brighten some bits up. Some of those were really pushed into the dark there.

Is that just a shadow on the Hulk, or is he half gray?
