Re: Back To The Future - Back on the Big Screen

I saw this today, and I was surprised how fast time flew revisiting this movie in the theaters. It seemed like the first few minutes dragged just a little bit then all of a sudden, it was the big dance. I haven't watched my 4K set, so maybe I'll break out 2 and 3 and finish off a trilogy refresh.

Good showing this evening. Only thing I noticed that I never had was that when the cop asks Doc if he has permits for his weather experiments he goes in his wallet presumably to bribe the cop.

Re: Back To The Future - Back on the Big Screen

Took the whole family to see this last week in IMAX. That was an expensive night out. We usually wait to watch movies on discount days. Plus they still had the DeLorian popcorn bucket so of course I had to pick one up.

Everyone loved it. My 13 year old really loved it. She's a bit of an old soul so loves anything 80's. Even my 6 year old really loved it. It looked great on the LieMax and the movie still really holds up.

Re: Back To The Future - Back on the Big Screen

I saw this on the original release in a very old one-screen theater in a tiny beach town, and it was less than an optimal viewing experience. I was a bit nervous when the grainy splash scene appeared, but this was amazing in IMAX. I must have seen this film 100 times by now, as it was in heavy rotation on cable when nothing else was. Bummed I went on my bday 11/4 instead of on Time Travel day 11/5 . As someone who has a huge crush on Elizabeth Shue, my only complaint was that she was not Jennifer in this one, too.
