I now recall that The Old Dark House and this were two of the favorites of Leslie Halliwell in his Halliwell's Film Guide, but as it happened it was the only thing I had pulled shots for that I hadn't posted yet. No anniversary or current events tie-ins that I'm aware of ...

I now read that the actual London to Brighton Veteran Car run, the event depicted in Genevieve, took place this year on Sunday, November 7, which is also the day I posted my first shot of the film, and which I swear I was unaware of until this morning (11/9/2010). I feel a little scared ....

Hmm, you're right, they both get four stars, a very infrequently-used rating in that book.
