So... not gun do it, wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.

Right, good idea to keep them at hand for the future.

Sorry to do this, but I'm going to have to throw out a wildcard. I'm not going to be around enough to post many shots this weekend, but I promise I'll grab somebody else's WC soon.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

The director has one Oscar®, but it wasn't a Best Director award.

Question: is this movie a notorious, star-studded turkey?

One cast member was the star of a network TV series that first aired in the 1960s (and is one of my favorites), and won an Emmy for the role.

That's sort of a matter of opinion, I suppose. I wouldn't really call it "star-studded" although it has plenty of familiar faces in the cast. And I think the movie is pretty brilliant, although it certainly wasn't a financial success. Can you be more specific? Or maybe my last post helps some?

No, my question was not up for interpretation if you knew the movie to which I was referring (bees causing havoc). You've answered, thanks, but I'm still clueless on this one...for now.Originally Posted by obscurelabel

The film's producer was seen regularly on national television broadcasts and cablecasts in 2010.

I'm far from sure about this, but I've exhausted my research capabilities up to now, so I'll just guess Brewster McCloud. It fits all the criteria (Altman had me off-track for a while, because his Oscars are listed incorrectly at IMDb), but I can't find any clips or shots to correspond with those you have shown.

Aha, and I only noticed afterward that you gave me an an extra clue when you wrote "Nothing to do with BEES" (but birds...).
I'll have something up a little later, but if someone else has caps ready, be my guest and grab the slot.

The director, one of the top American filmmakers IMO, has never won a Best Director Oscar, but has several nominations. He's still occasionally active.

Here's the lead actor, one of the greatest. He shamefully never won an Oscar, despite several nominations, but he had several other award and festival wins and nominations, including one for this film.

The German-born actress who just boarded this bus won an Oscar a few years before this film. She had numerous other award and festival wins and nominations.
