I for one would not want to watch blue people fucking. Seems like a nice paint job though.

Millions of other people don't have your problem with CGI, but that's okay, at least we know you have it. Owning up to it is the first step to the road of something.

I don't have a problem with CGI. I have a problem with movies that use nothing BUT CGI to tell their live-action stories. It makes the film feel cold and lifeless to me, since nothing in it is actually real but it's all supposed to be.

Re: So What Does Cameron Do Now?

Again, you are unable or unwilling to suspend your disbelief when it comes to CGI (integrated with live action). Nothing wrong with that as long as you avoid CGI-fests because you are bound to be disappointed by them (why subject yourself to them if you know you can't "get there" with films loaded with CGI), and then comes the inevitable negative posts from your POV. Most people get that you didn't enjoy Avatar. Why continue to harp on it. Why can't you just let go of Avatar or Cameron related topics?

I think this thread needs less trying to suppress Draven for having an opinion, and more baseball analogies for the Speilberg-Cameron comparison/debate.

Spielberg has a better portfolio, Cameron is a bigger money maker.

Re: So What Does Cameron Do Now?

Spieldberg is lot like a spray hitter, with some power and a good OPS, while Cameron is juiced, no other way around it.

The Box was a pretty big flop, but I don't know that it requires any immediate action on her part. Let's wait and see how Knight & Day does before making any plans.

?? I was about to post the same thing, she hasn't aged as gracefully as one would hope though. Knight and Day could be entertaining.

Last thing I saw him in was Speed. Or was that Star Trek he was in first? I can't remember.

Before he makes another movie, Cameron needs to spend a little time approving new Blu-ray transfers of The Abyss, True Lies and Titanic.

True Lies and Terminator are his weakest film imo. Would rather see something completly original or a sequel to Avatar then True Lies part 2.

Weaker than The Abyss, Piranha 2, and Titanic? You so crazy!
