Human Centipede (What?)
I can't believe that this movie was made. Here is an article about the movie and it does contain pics so they could be spoilers for those that want to be "surprised". I have seen a lot of nasty "horror" movies but I do not know if I could stomach this one.

There's already a thread on this one.
And I was eating when I read the title. The title is all it takes. Those few promo screencaps are forever imprinted in my brain. Thank you sir.
I think that this movie will snowball some buzz and become a relative 'cult hit'.

I can't wash those screencaps from my mind. Just thinking about how this all works is really making me ill and I kind of wish that I hadn't read about it nor knew anything about this movie. However, I figured that some people on here might be interested in it so I posted it. I didn't know about the previous thread so sorry about double posting.

Am I missing some screen shots somewhere? The ones shown in that link are hardly disturbing. A little odd perhaps, but not disturbing.

The plot, essentially, is this: A respected Siamese Twin surgeon has developed his future vision of the world. He wants to remove all humans’ kneecaps and then graft the humans together, mouth-to-anus, to form a human centipede.

In fact the movie is not as disgusting or disturbing as it sound. It's very well made and kinda funny.

You've seen it? I have to say I feel sorry for the actors in it. I know it's all fake, but imagine having to literally work like you have your head up someone's arse?
If you go to youtube (I refuse to provide a link, it is disturbing) you can see interviews with the cast, and the fact that both actresses in this are really pretty is quite a testament to how difficult it must be to make it in the movie business, if you agree to do something of this nature.
However, I must ask a question: if this movie had been made by David Cronenberg would people be just as down on it, or would they be talking about how it's a return to his roots? I sometimes think that people's opinions of a movie may be molded by their impression of whomever is making it.

It wouldn't matter to me who made it as it is downright disgusting. That doesn't mean that I will not see it. However, looking at the screencraps doesn't make my stomach feel well nor are they easy to forget about. Talk about a twisted world we live in.

There's a red carpet interview on Youtube. The lead girl is cute.
I don't have any problems with this movie being made, other people seem to (do a Google search). Sick premise, yes. I probably won't watch it. But, for those people who condemn a movie like this, just being made - we'd be in a worse world/society if everything couldn't be explored. Embraced by the weirdos and shunned by the rest of us, yes. But just like Irreversable, it's perfectly okay that this movie exists. And for that matter, John Waters was making shit eating movies before Tom Six was born. Pft.

Those screencaps have been available on this forum for weeks. They aren't very graphic at all. I've read some halfway decent reviews of this, I'm sure I'll check it out eventually.
