Human Centipede (What?)

Isn't that the whole allure of the movie? Sewing people together is mildly creepy but when its ass to mouth you kinda expect some nasty shit (pun intended).

I'm still curious as to what route they're going to take with the sequel. Especially if the plan is to get 14 people together like that.

And?
So is piss, blood, snot, puss and sweat but you don't see me eating/drinking those either.
Anyways, I liked the movie. It was entertaining and fucked up and I don't think we needed to see more than we did. Also, let's be realistic; it's not a Cat III movie or a japanese movie. Tom Six probably had distribution in mind when he made it.

I had to order this OnDemand Sat. night. I've been hearing so much about the film that I needed to see it. My gf attempted to watch it with me, but she bailed after about 35 min. Then she kept yelling out that I was nasty for watching it. Was it gross? Of course, but not graphically so. I've seen far, far worse depravity on film than what we got here. But the concept was especially grotesque. I thought the Dr. did a damn good job. He was so incredibly creepy and misanthropic that I couldn't help but love his performance. Even the girls weren't your typical dumbass Americans. And kudos for throwing in a Japanese guy. I loved the mix of languages being used.
I don't know how they're going to do a sequel, but I'll def watch it. I thought this one was well-shot and acted. I'll pick it up on BD.

Haha. Ebert's the man. He didn't have to review this, but did. He didn't give it any stars. But it was more of a "no star" rating than a "zero star" rating.

scientifically speaking....based on that graphic it's a bit more complicated right? I mean person in front poops, which goes to the 2nd and I'm assuming it has to be digested over time and again to the 3rd. Right? Is that how it happens?

scientifically speaking, for everyone to live the food has to nourish everyone, so therefore, the last person should be the only one pooping. The only thing that should be coming out of the first and second people's asses is chewed food (not poop).
There's definitely a new type of digestion process involved!

Do they explain that? I thought this was "100% Medically Accurate." Then again, I don't think the centipede experiment is a success.

That is only if you take the simplistic illustration literally. He doesn't do any internal surgery, the whole procedure is superficial, so everyone still has stomachs and intestines.

Yeah, they are eating shit. Which isn't a huge dealbreaker actually. Flood them with antibiotics, and they will be able to grab nutrients from shit. To get enough nutrients to keep the third person alive, they would make the first guy eat 24/7.
Which, this is shock horror. It isn't supposed to make sense. I was ok with that until they added the medically accurate bit. The 2nd and 3rd person would die of thirst before a week was out. Arrrggghh. The concept is terrifying. Noone wants to be "pede" #3. But claiming accuracy? Gah!

Re: Human Centipede (What?)
So, taking the whole water part out of the equation, can a person actually survive by eating nothing but poop? Doesn't seem like there would be nearly enough nutrients for somebody to actually survive on that and even if there were actually enough nutrients to keep the second person alive, it seems like the nutrients would continue to decrease as it went through the centipede so the third and fourth people would have even less nutrients available.
