Even worse than the thought of a facebook inspired movie...a Hollywood remake in 15 years.

Re: David Fincher's "The Social Network"

Neat poster - and I think the idea sounds stupid but it's got a good cast and I love Fincher. Throw in Sorkin, who can make just about anything interesting and you've got a pretty promising blend of talent IMO.

So, the kid is multi-millionaire/billionaire and now has David Fincher directing a movie about his life... nice.

Might want to ask the cast and crew of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip about that.

Dude, you know what I meant.
And even if you didn't IMO his story is absolutely not more interesting. Not even close. It's a silly comparison.

I thought that show was great - it was just Neilson Families that didn't find it amusing

thats definitely the vibe i was hoping for. Still a teaser, but this is quickly becoming one of the few films I can't wait to see this year.

Yeah, I kinda like what I'm hearing...hopefully the visuals make up for what COULD be a very odd film.

Looks to be as exciting as watching someone's grandmother fold laundry for over two hours!

Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac...Facebook! It's a logical next step
Fincher is awesome though, so I'm there.

So nice to hear Sorkin's voice again, too. I'm really looking forward to this.

This isn't about the PayPal guys but it does predate them, it looks somewhat decent. I think this opens in August...

I like Fincher's early movies, but I'm not sold on this idea yet.

Re: David Fincher's "The Social Network"

I'm surprised at how very little interest I have in this movie. I pretty much want Fincher to get this one over with and move on to his next project.

I'm quite sure I'm jumping the gun here having not seen a single frame of the finished film, but right now it just seems like a giant waste of talent.

Man, it's been so long since someone made a movie with Luke Wilson in it that looked good, I think I'm nostalgic. It's been so long the movie's practically set in the era in question.

I'm still very much on the fence about this film but the vibe I got from that teaser was definitely a step in the right direction.

Re: David Fincher's "The Social Network"

I don't know why everyone is doubting this film without having even seen any footage. It has a sweet cast, interesting plot, and an awesome director. Sounds good to me.
