Neat poster - and I think the idea sounds stupid but it's got a good cast and I love Fincher. Throw in Sorkin, who can make just about anything interesting and you've got a pretty promising blend of talent IMO.

And even if you didn't IMO his story is absolutely not more interesting. Not even close. It's a silly comparison.

thats definitely the vibe i was hoping for. Still a teaser, but this is quickly becoming one of the few films I can't wait to see this year.

So when will we get a movie about the PayPal guys? I think there was six of them. And one produced a couple movies. I hear they killed a guy. Should make a good movie. You heard it here first (mostly because it's not true).
I don't use Facebook nor Myspace. And I think that both are for (insert homophobic slur)s. But this sounds like it's going to be about a guy who is kind of an asshole, and makes a social networking site so that he can make friends.

Re: David Fincher's "The Social Network"
I'm surprised at how very little interest I have in this movie. I pretty much want Fincher to get this one over with and move on to his next project.
I'm quite sure I'm jumping the gun here having not seen a single frame of the finished film, but right now it just seems like a giant waste of talent.

Umm... I am shocked that this wasn't some "Funny Or Die" joke.

This isn't about the PayPal guys but it does predate them, it looks somewhat decent. I think this opens in August...

I'm still very much on the fence about this film but the vibe I got from that teaser was definitely a step in the right direction.

I don't know why everyone is doubting this film without having even seen any footage. It has a sweet cast, interesting plot, and an awesome director. Sounds good to me.
