That stood out for me too.

This movie seemed so mysterious but that last trailer seemed to give away all its secrets. Granted this movie looks great but not quite as excited as I once was.

Someone who has seen the trailer and 12 minutes of the film has said that we haven't seen anything yet. I believe he's a LA times writer. Plus as someone on NolanFans said, the villain (Ken Wantanabe) wasn't even introduced in the trailer.

What a cast.

I'm looking forward to this.

Yea. We get the setup. But I'm going to guess that there's some serious showdown where Wantanabe learns that he's in a dream and can manipulate it himself. Just my guess.

Perhaps that's merely a part of DiCaprio's character's dream.

I wonder after seeing this film if we'll be clamoring for Joseph Gordon Levitt to be the next Batman villain.

I don't see it. Very minor resemblence. I mean..it's not like Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem.

I've purposely been avoiding reading about this movie at all because I was sold from the beginning, so at Iron Man 2 was the first time I've seen this new trailer. I could not possibly be more excited for this film. And I may just be gay for Joseph Gordon Levitt. I'm man enough to admit that. He's just put together such an impressive body of work in such a short amount of time (GI Joe aside).

G.I. Joe fan?

really though, JGL is talented enough, though i've yet to see him in anything that would make me a "fan" of his work. Could change with this....

Haha, no I haven't seen GI Joe. I was more commenting on how he's "gay" for JGL.

I agree that JGL is one of the real talents in film right now. His work in 'Brick', 'The Lookout', 'Manic', and quite a few other films is/was top notch.

I didn't know he was in Gi Joe and I haven't seen it. He probably did a paycheck movie.

What's so wrong with being in a movie you may enjoy regardless of it's great or not? I think JGL just thought it was badass to be Cobra Commander and that's ok. I liked the movie fine....a lot more than I thought I would.

I'm really psyched to see Inception. I think I really need one "Dark City-Matrix-13th Floor"-type film once a year to be cinema satisfied!

First great trailer of 2010 as well!

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010): Contemporary Sci-fi/Action

I'm probably treading on dangerous waters by just coming into this thread, but I'm definitely going to stay spoiler-free for this one. I'm interested in seeing this, based simply on the director, cast, and genre alone. I'll try to stay away from any trailers or promotional material (other than that awesome one sheet) whatsoever, as I'd really like to go into this knowing absolutely nothing about the plot.

Its OK that you are uncomfortable with your own sexuality. You might get over it some day. I have no problem admitting my man-love for JGL. 99% of the actors that people at DVDTalk have hard-ons for I can't stand. There are very few people that can get me to go see a movie based solely on them & Levitt is one of them. I know I am in a small minority, but maybe Inception will get more people to notice him.
