Tom Berenger? Fuck yea.

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010): Contemporary Sci-fi/Action
This has shaped up to be a pretty good cast.

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010): Contemporary Sci-fi/Action
Somehow I forgot or didn't know Michael Caine was in this too. I think Caine may be an awesome good luck charm for Nolan. I can't get enough of Caine. The more the better.

Trailer 3 in horrible but tolerable quality. The slide projector is not on in the background for the entire trailer.

Re: Inception (Nolan, 2010): Contemporary Sci-fi/Action
For some reason, while the trailer got my interest, I kept thinking about the plot and that this was going to be a Nolan version of Dreamscape.

Did Nolan shoot any of this in IMAX like he did for The Dark Knight?

Saw this in front of Iron Man in IMAX. Easily my most anticipated film of the year.

that trailer is all sorts of awesome. The one movie this summer (all year?) that will have me in a midnight seat.

I agree. I'm so happy to see Nolan really grow as a director. And by the way this looks and based on the story. I think he's as close as to having a new Kubrick. I'm not saying he's as good as Kubrick but...just his growth and confidence in his filmmaking is amazing. Especially in such a short time.
It's a shame that Inception isn't Batman 3 though. From the trailer, it looks like a Batman movie, same actors, same town. He should have just replaced DeCaprio with Batman....throw in the Riddler there who has access to this dream machine, and voila, a superhero movie with a good sci-fi storyline. Most superhero movies (except for Watchmen) play it so damn safe. If anyone has read a comic or watched a cartoon, Superman, Batman, X-men, Spiderman, FF4 have all been involved in trippy sci-fi storylines. |
