Sounds like some of that plot was taken from the Hush storyline and the pre-One Year Later storyline in Catwoman.

If it really is Talia and the League of Shadows versus Batman, I'll be one happy camper. I was hoping for it to come full circle like that.

Now if only Joseph Gordon Levitt would be Jean-Paul Valley... -pray-

No...just no to JPV. That character was a bad inclusion to the Batman mythos. Had potential but it never worked out at that time.

I agree. Even his costume design was bad. I just don't think Batman would reveal his identity and secrets to a brainwashed assassin, let alone, have him take over as Batman.

Especially not Nolan's Batman.

Except the way I see JPV working in these movies is as a henchman of the LOS. Remember, R'as Al Ghul in the Nolanverse intended Bruce Wayne to carry out his will to destroy Gotham. You even got the feeling that he viewd him as a successor (as he did in the comics). Bruce betrayed him to his death. The surviving members of the LOS know that Bruce Wayne is Batmman. And now Batman is hunted by the police (as well as the mob). Jean-Paul Valley can be brought in as a replacement for Bruce Wayne and he can masquerade as the Batman in order to carry out the same mission that was intended for Bruce Wayne: the destruction of Gotham.

I wonder if Batman is more likely to get jiggy with Talia or Catwoman/Selina? Would make more sense for it to be Talia; Oscar winners need to get together more often. ;)

Has the casting of Talia even been confirmed?

By that logic you're asking for Freeman and Caine to join in as well.

No, but w/ Cotillard being reported by that French newspaper and her being french....and Henri Ducard aka Ra's Al Guhl being french as well...it's a connection. Whether true or not...I've no idea, mate.

Except that the comic book character was French. Heck, Liam Neeson's character wasn't even billed as Henri Ducard but rather Ducard. And even that was just an alias. So that's grasping at strws at best.

I'd love to see a sportier, faster batmobile while a new tumbler is being built.

I wouldn't mind a speedier Batmobile but I want the heavy duty Tumbler to return. It has agility AND an itimidation factor given it's mass. It really fits Batman perfectly.

Oh man this keeps getting better and better, I do hope Nolan can pull it off nicely, I don't want another Spider-Man 3 episode... I don't think i would be able to handle it :yack:

While the last thing this movie needs is more characters, and she would be WAY distracting if given a lead role, Lady GaGa would be a good cameo if they wanted let Harley Quinn make a brief appearance. If you look at the photo to the right in this link, she wouldn't require any costume design.

No, no, no. I'd love to see Harley Quinn but Lady Gaga (and I do enjoy her music) is a pop culture reference, a product of this era, please no.

Only if he's the fire-sword-gauntlet-wielding Azrael.
