Is this still the "Batman 3" thread?

And I thought that the Star Wars thread in the blu-ray subforum that sidetracked by the subject of Natalie Portman's nipples went off-topic...

Spoiled sport! Here's some TDKR info to keep your trap shut. ;)

He's looking pretty big. The mask doesn't look that great from that angle to me, though you can't see much.

Love the fact that there is going another viral marketing campaign like the last film. Will probably be bigger now with twitter.

The mask looks lowrent but I'm sure it'll look much better with less harsh light.

I do like that they incorporated the white "stripe" from the front of the mask.

The lighting makes it look as if made of cheap plastic (which is probably true). But just like the armour in Thor, I'm sure it'll look more "substantial" with proper lighting. That's what I'm getting at.

I wonder if the Venom is self contained in the mask.

There seems to be a nub in the back where a tube could potentially be connected. Maybe he only takes regular Venom treatments rather than need a constant supply?

Neat pic but I can't tell shit about Hardy's size...he doesn't look as big as he was for Bronson.

His guns looked a touch bigger in Bronson.

But I think he seems more defined as Bane (which gives across a slimmer appearance).

Yeah, I see what you mean. I can't wait to see a full shot of him as Bane.

There are three more faces to add to the cast:

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...7/51ce01bc.jpg
Matthew Modine

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...7/1562c8c5.jpg
Tom Conti

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...7/7237aebd.jpg
Joey King

So Joker has returned.

And no Beezus? Fail.

;)

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I'm guessing Joey King is Ramona from Ramona and Beezus? Is she gonna be Barbara Gordon?

Who's Methew Modine gonna portray? And who the heck iis Tom Conti (his name and face aren't ringing any bells)?

Not sure anyone has mentioned it but Morgan Freeman was at the Civil Rights Game in Atlanta last week, and came into the Phils TV booth for an inning: He was talking about his favorite movies, favorite actors, and then they asked what is his next project, "I begin shooting the new Batman Movie next month."

Could the girl be a young Selina/Catwoman or Miranda/Talia?

Did you hear him say his favorite movies. They asked him about Shawshank and he dismissed it and said his faves were that crappy soccer movie Invictus, and then he added Glory to even it out I guess. Oh his favorite sport is tennis.

Without a script........

Sorry rugby, still crappy though.
He didn't say anything about the movie at all just that he was happy to be Nelson Mandela.

In regards to Modine, who knows. It could be something somewhat substantial like Rutger Hauer in Batman Begins or it could be really small like William Fichtner in The Dark Knight, though given it seems this was the same part Treat Williams had to turn due to scheduling conflicts, it seems like it could be a larger part (the Fichtner role would take a day or two of filming at best).

He was Mr. Earle. He was running Wayne Enterprises after Thomas Wayne died and had Bruce Wayne declared dead in order to liquidate his majority share holdings (which Bruce had left to Alfred, along with the manor and everything else, in case he did die).

There we go, I haven't watched BB in years, so I don't remember Hauer playing that guy, but I remember it now.
