The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Point taken! But Catwoman is a different beast entirely. Of course this all hinges on how much action there will actually be in the film for Catwoman, and if they can get around that the way they did with Michelle Pfeiffer. These films are more realistic, so I don't think it will be a problem.
Nolan hasn't failed me yet.

Bane's had a few different stories about hunting down and destroying Batman, and that should fit in nicely with what Nolan has set up with TDK. Off the top of my head I'm remembering one of the animated movies(Mystery of the Batwoman) were the Penguin was running the mob and hired Bane to take care of Batman.

Here's hoping this film doesn't suffer the same "trilogy" curse that has plagued the other superhero movies such as the original Spider-man (with Toby Maguire), original Batman (with Michael Keaton & Val Kilmer), original Superman (Christopher Reeve) & Blade.

It'll be interesting to see but for me, Nolan has done these Batman movies right and I think he'll close it out just fine.

The previous Batman series wasn't a trilogy, and Batman Forever was quite good, Tommy Lee Jones notwithstanding.

Hopefully, this will be more Return of the King-ish and less Back to the Future 3-ish.

Either way - I like both casting choices. Any of the women he casts from here on out will always look good when their performances are compared to Katie Holmes' Rachel.

At least Anne has the purr voice down (taken from that piece of shit movie Havoc): NSFW language

Nice! Nolan keeps the streak of shitty actresses (that are odd/ugly looking yet many find attractive).
Im surprised he didnt just cast the rest of everyone else from Inception

As for including the rest of the cast of Inception, there's two actors from there (and in the case of Caine, he's reprising his role from the first two Batman movies). It's nothing new that directors like to use the same actor from one project to the next.

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
My feelings on Anne Hathaway: she hasn't been given meaty, dark material yet, and Nolan hasn't been confronted with a front-and-center female character to chew on and explore. It'll be an interesting challenge for both involved, and I currently have faith that both will rise to the occasion. Hathaway greatly impressed me with Rachel Getting Married, showcasing a few stunning dramatic moments throughout that suggest she might be just right for pinning down an intriguing Catwoman (and Kyle, specifically). I just really hope Nolan doesn't go the slipstream route in projecting her as little more than a face-value villain with boobs in spandex, though I'm naturally optimistic this won't be the case.
Can't even really talk about Hardy as Bane, though, until we've seen a little more out of what Nolan has in mind for him.

Look back a few pages, I predicted Anne Hathaway as Catwoman before anyone else!
Don't know why they're using Bane, but I am certain he will do the character more justice than Schumacher.

I think Hathaway has done well in her more dramatic films like Havoc or Passengers. I really have no problems with her being chosen and it will be interesting to see where the character goes being just this one film.
