So to keep the train of thought going, Christopher Judge is playing Nolan's version of JGL who pushes JGL down.

That's what's good about JGL being in the suit, he looks just like Bale so everyone can be fooled. :)

Except for Aquarius, that horoscope seems filled with plot hints.

How do you know that it isn't a hint as well? Maybe the "thirst for life" means that after Bruce is broken he recovers by slamming a Dew.

First pic of JGL in the Batsuit!

Or perhaps the Lazarus Pit is filled with Mountain Dew.

That would be rehashing a gag from my favorite show "ANGEL".

I only watched Angel off and on (mostly the last couple of seasons). I wasn't aware of such a gag.

It was in the final season of the show, an episode called "Destiny".

Basically, Angel and Spike fought each other in a very bloody fashion over an ancient cup filled with what was supposed to be some magical essence of life making whichever vampire who drinks from it a human being again. Kind of a Lazarus Pit effect sort of deal.

Only it was filled with Mountain Dew instead. :)

Wouldn't that be the opposite of the Lazarus Pit? Making a vampire human again would be taking away his immortality. The Lazarus Pit makes you immortal.

It brings dead things back to life, and a vampire is a dead thing. Making it human gives it life.

Edit: Also it was in Casper, except the mountain dew part. :)

Vampires are undead, neither truly dead nor alive.

Casper, the friendly ghost, turned human again? :whofart:

Depends entirely on the mythology. Not all vampire mythology follows the same rules. Since I made a "Buffyverse" reference, I stand by what I said and the episode (along with all of the mythology of both series) speaks for itself.

In the 1995 Casper movie, there was indeed a lazarus pit machine, which Casper was going to use to be alive again (his father built it to bring his son back to life) but it ended up being used to bring Bill Pullman's character back to life instead.

For about five minutes, yes.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

When he was resurrected he found himself up against a race of aliens so he took over the country and personally handed their asses to them.

Batman's not the answer to Bane's destruction of Gotham, Bill Pullman is!

No, but Dick Laurent is dead.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I saw this earlier; it's fun speculation. And I'm NOT advocating for it like some are saying JGL is in the cowl. The only way I hope it's real is if it's used as a follow-up in a solo movie (which is also unlikely). And I know, I know. "Nolan hates Robin", but Nightwing is awesome...
