I think the medical term is "flycatcher mouth".

The chin!!

There are a few people that have "analyzed" a couple shots in the trailers and will swear up and down that the chin belongs to JGL.

Yeah that was very interesting because it fits in well with the idea of him being a legend. That's all he is to children who will have grown up hearing stories told by their parents.

of course the newest trailer has completely debunked that 100 percent, not that it needed to be but doesn't hurt. ;)

Wouldn't it be something if Bane calls him Mr. Wayne, but then when he breaks Batman's mask the camera slowly pans to reveal it's actually..... JGL!!

What I want to know is...what is Nolan's writing process that puts him so far ahead of his audience? He probably wrote this years ago (along with his partners, his brother, etc) and people are still guessing, and have no real clue as to what's going to happen. That takes some damn skill.

But in the end it actually turns out to be Bale wearing a Mission Impossible style JGL facial mask.

Bruce Wayne is holding a cane ... and canes are shaped like the letter "J" as in Joseph.

The police commissioner is ... Gordon.

Fox asks Wayne "Do you remember where you parked?" as in "where did you leave it" ... leave it ... Levitt.

Duh! It's all right there!

John is an alternate spelling of Jean.

The letter "b" is an upside down "p"

Lake and Valley are both geographical features.

It is therefore obvious that John Blake = Jean P Valley

Agreed. I'm excited to see all the plot points that we have no idea are coming.

One of Nolan's strengths as a director is his involvement in the writing process. When the director is involved in the script, the end result is simply better.

LOL. I should have mentioned that the director needs to be competent for that to be true.

Mother of god, if only those scripts were ghostwritten.

So according to Wikipedia, Christopher Judge is playing "Nolan's version of 'Stalker'". I don't see how that could be possible without re-imagining the character to the point that's Stalker in name only.

Solid Snake 06-21-12 02:18 PM

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

He's in the 3rd trailer for TDKR. He's the one that pushes JGL or whomever that is. He's wearing the merc look w/ scarf around his neck. Not a good look at him but that was him.

Never heard of stalker. So that's..interesting, I guess.

I know he's in the trailer. But his being Stalker (an obscure supernatural character) is an odd choice, if true.

Looking at the Wiki page, very obscure character.

Solid Snake 06-21-12 02:24 PM

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

yeah. Not sure what would attract the use of the guy. Maybe..a thematic type of character. For storytelling purposes. Again...I don't know shit about the guy.
