This is the exclusive video.

It's a mix of stuff we've seen and new footage.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I did manage to see the actual broadcast of it, without (thankfully) having to put up with the whole MTV show.

Christopher Nolan introduced that video above, but before that Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (JGL for those still in the game) and Batman himself, Christian Bale appeared to introduce a montage from the first two films.

After that montage was over, Bale was genuinely teary-eyed because of scenes with Heath Ledger. Very touching moment there. They then introduced Nolan to the stage.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

And if you guys still can't see that JGL is Batman in a few shots (that MTV clip) then I'd get your eyes checked, because it's even more obvious than it was before. Just sayin'.

Damn, I wasn't as psyched for this as I was TDK, but after seeing this new footage I'm starting to get that ol' feeling again!

I wanted to keep my expectations low for this one and be surprised, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now, lol

Yes, our eyesight is bad for not making assumptions about a chin seen for 1.5 seconds in a fast-paced montage.

That's still pushing it a little too close to 3 hours for my tastes but a hell of a lot better than the 3+ hour runtime previously rumoured.

The footage was awesome! The only downside was that I had to sit through those shitty MTV movie awards. Talk about terrible TV.

While it took a little longer than I would have liked, I finally got the "Holy Shit this is going to be incredible" vibe I had before TDK.

This new footage looks outstanding.

I guess I'm in the vast minority - these trailers aren't doing much for me.

The original plan was to have Leo Dicaprio play the riddler

Because this thread needs more shirtless BANE rather than shirtless Bale:

Hardy has some crazy looking Traps. Noticed that in Warrior as well.

Mike86 06-06-12 06:27 PM

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

See that picture makes me wonder why some people are whining about Hardy looking too small to be Bane. Honestly he looks the right size to me. The overly exaggerated look he had in the comics would look goofy translated to screen if you ask me especially for Nolan's Batman.

Looks fat.

Lay off the twinkies, Bane.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

in my minds eye Batman should not be taller than Bane. He's not an imposing figure in the trailers. Thats my only beef on the look of him.

Is Bane holding a riding crop? Is he some sort of dominatrix in this? :whofart:

Looks pretty freaking ripped IMO. He's no Big Poppa Pump , but doesn't need to be such.
