It was just posted on Facebook. Meh, kind of underwhelming.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Had a little time on my hands, so I took a couple screen grabs (I did lighten a couple up):
Gordon: Spoiler:
Bane: Spoiler:
Batman/Bane: Spoiler:
Batman/Bane #2: Spoiler:

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
I wonder who the guy is chained up hanging by his neck there behind batman.

What did you expect exactly? It's a teaser and just gave some very brief glimpses of what's coming. No worse than the teaser for The Dark Knight which was just the bat logo with dialog playing.

Considering this is all we got for TDK:

just downloaded it and viewed it on PS3 - I hate watching trailers on the computer. I felt fear for the Batman at the end, and Bane looks genuinely scary. Well I'm sold on this - this is really happening now. Leaked set pictures and all are obvious that yes it's being made but to see that poster and now this teaser just makes it all the more "real" - and it was July 18 2008 that THE DARK KNIGHT was released in theatres so it's an appropriate day for the official online release of this teaser.

Looks like Batman is going to get his ass kicked.

How didyou get it on the ps3?
I just clicked the mp4, named it "RISE", saved it. Put it on a USB drive and played it back. Despite being a roughly 720p video it's a bit too pixellated so whenever a true 1080p version hits online that's the one to save on PS3 for good. |
Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Judging from the officially released trailer, I'd change my speculative summary and say Gordon won't know who Batman is during the movie. There are spy pics of Bruce at the hospital wearing a ski mask, much like he did in Batman Begins when visiting Gordon's office. In the trailer you can barely see that the person to whom Gordon is talking is wearing a dark mask.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Batman looked scared as fuck in that last frame.

I'm not that big of a fan of Bane with what looks like a big body and normal sized arms but I'll hold back comments until I see more. |
Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Why is Elvis just standing there watching?! He needs to help!

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
He's scared, worn down and soaking wet. He's also clearly in his TDK suit which is good. I'm glad they're sticking with it. I'm not used to seeing Batman, especially this Batman scared. It made me scared to see Bane coming towards him. I consider this to be a successful teaser for that.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Yea, he definitely doesn't look very confident.

Spoiler:
I agree, though. The suit from TDK is awesome, and I'm glad to see it wasn't messed with (too much) like in previous Bat-films. |

Any word on when Warrior will hit theaters? While not something I see being a huge hit, it would be a good way to introduce Tom Hardy in bulked up bad ass mode. |

As someone else said, it wouldn't surprise me if this was in the beginning of the movie. Bane could take out Gordon who then asks Batman to come back and then proceeds to get demolished. |

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
I think it looks a like a guy aiming a rifle.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
OK, after seeing the .gif, it also looks as if he's winded. However, as someone else also pointed out, it looks like he's in the middle of an ass kicking, and he doesn't look at all confident.
