It was just posted on Facebook. Meh, kind of underwhelming.

What did you expect exactly? It's a teaser and just gave some very brief glimpses of what's coming. No worse than the teaser for The Dark Knight which was just the bat logo with dialog playing.

Had a little time on my hands, so I took a couple screen grabs (I did lighten a couple up):

Gordon:

Bane:

Batman/Bane:

Batman/Bane #2:

Exactly, if someone is expecting scenes from TDKR in a teaser a year from it's release you don't understand TEASER trailer. They are still filming the movie. People need to wait until December to get a full blown trailer.

Considering this is all we got for TDK:

I'm amazed we had footage at all.

lol I remember watching that when G4 premiered it during their Comic-con show. It was highly difficult for Kevin & Olivia to say something positive about it.

Much better job at "Teasing" this time around.

Well I'm sold on this - this is really happening now. Leaked set pictures and all are obvious that yes it's being made but to see that poster and now this teaser just makes it all the more "real" - and it was July 18 2008 that THE DARK KNIGHT was released in theatres so it's an appropriate day for the official online release of this teaser.

How didyou get it on the ps3?

Looks like Batman is going to get his ass kicked.

I use the Firefox add-on called "download helper". It locates download links of streamable videos like those found on YouTube and Facebook.

I just clicked the mp4, named it "RISE", saved it. Put it on a USB drive and played it back.

Despite being a roughly 720p video it's a bit too pixellated so whenever a true 1080p version hits online that's the one to save on PS3 for good.

Judging from the officially released trailer, I'd change my speculative summary and say Gordon won't know who Batman is during the movie. There are spy pics of Bruce at the hospital wearing a ski mask, much like he did in Batman Begins when visiting Gordon's office. In the trailer you can barely see that the person to whom Gordon is talking is wearing a dark mask.

Batman looked scared as fuck in that last frame.

He looked completely winded to me.

I'm not that big of a fan of Bane with what looks like a big body and normal sized arms but I'll hold back comments until I see more.

He's scared, worn down and soaking wet. He's also clearly in his TDK suit which is good. I'm glad they're sticking with it. I'm not used to seeing Batman, especially this Batman scared. It made me scared to see Bane coming towards him. I consider this to be a successful teaser for that.

Yea, he definitely doesn't look very confident.

I wonder if it's possible that this is from the beginning of the movie, and maybe that's why his suit is still there.
Spoiler:
If he does get his back broken in the movie, it would make sense for there to be another suit later on, right?

I agree, though. The suit from TDK is awesome, and I'm glad to see it wasn't messed with (too much) like in previous Bat-films.

I'm also in the camp of thinking that's from the beginning/ first act of the movie and Bane is about to kick Batman's ass. I have to say, for only having three movies, Nolan seems to have managed to cover all the major aspects of the Batman mythology. That shot is very reminiscent of a major part of Knightfall, and fans know what I'm talking about.

Any word on when Warrior will hit theaters? While not something I see being a huge hit, it would be a good way to introduce Tom Hardy in bulked up bad ass mode.

Yeah, it looks like he's taking a deep breath.

As someone else said, it wouldn't surprise me if this was in the beginning of the movie. Bane could take out Gordon who then asks Batman to come back and then proceeds to get demolished.

OK, after seeing the .gif, it also looks as if he's winded. However, as someone else also pointed out, it looks like he's in the middle of an ass kicking, and he doesn't look at all confident.
