I'm not a huge 3D guy but this movie just seems like it'll kick all kinds of ass in 3D. I think the simplest visuals tend to look the best in 3D.

I was hopeing to see the trailer on the big screen before Alice in wonderland but all we got was a religious movie trailer called letters to god which mentions the word god about 20 times in 60 seconds.

That movie made a good use of neon colors in just about every scene, computer and real world. They really pop in that movie.

I really hope that this film hasn't been shot in scope (2.35) a flat film (1.85) and specifically this film should look absolutely massive on the IMAX screen

AFAIK it's flat and some sequences will open up to fill an IMAX screen.

As they should. Jeff Bridges won the award, and he is in the movie. It is no different from any other Academy Award winning actor who has been touted as such by any other film producer over the past 80 or so years.

From the trailer, I love that look of Michael Sheen looking like David Bowie. He looks like he's playing crazy man in the movie!

So after countless remakes/re-imaginings/reboots/sequels - it looks like we might FINALLY have one that gets it right. When I was a kid, I remember I freaked out when I saw the recognizer the first time - I think I had the same reaction when I saw it again in this trailer. This just went up to my #1 movie I want to see this year. Too damn bad it's at the END of the year...sigh...
