And Solid Snake PAC, if you didn't like the first one. What is it about this one that appeals to you? Just curious.

Probably the visual quality of the film itself. I tried to get into it but all that fucking bright lights gave me a headache. I found it boring too...I watched 20 mins on TV about 2 months ago..and again..it's just boring. I guess I'll try to watch it from start to finish...cuz the idea interests me, of what it is I mean. But something about it..just irks. I'm also not a fan of vector like graphics. Does the DVD have a better visual quality cuz I dunno if the brightness of the film is supposed to be THAT bright.

In this one I like..well...probably the action aspect of it, the non burning of my eyes by the colors. And that it looked entertaining, even if it's a teaser

What was different about it? Just more action? Because it hit all the same notes I remember from last year.

The overall feel is the same they just tweaked it a little. Face of the Blue player has been changed, small details during the race, the bikes are different, the landscapes in the background are different. They've added allot more detail to the animation.

For the record, I still have the cammed version. Detail is obviously way low, so I can't say for sure what you say is right or wrong, but in terms of length and action, the trailers are identical, and in general they look identical. I know because for fun, I was able to synch up the hi-res trailer with the audio from the original (with the crowd reacting).

I'm seriously hoping they are still tweaking it. The face of the blue player looks like crap - almost like a hologram withen the game construct. I could also do without the slo-motion effects when jumping on the bike. I love the first movie, it's one of my top 10 80's movies. However, I'm very skeptical of the new movie. So far the only good thing about it is that it doesn't appear to be a complete re-boot, that it is a true sequal.
