I just finished watching it. I found it very entertaining despite some of the same criticisms from everyone else.

I'm dispensing with the spoiler tags, ye be warned...

Personally I didn't care why they were kidnapping the POTUS, or the terrorists' motives. I do have a problem with the head terrorist having a soft spot for a little girl after killing hundreds of people. That was about as weak as it comes.

Darq, Forest definitely saw a figure in the window. That had to be a red herring just for the audience's sake, which, if true, ranks up there with the little girl.

I thought the guy he saw in the window was the secret service guy who was checking the room at Barnes' request.....

Or maybe that room was haunted and it was a ghost.

Just got done watching this. I went to high school with the blonde news girl at the beginning of the movie sitting next to Sigourney Weaver. Really takes you out of it when you know one of the actors!

Just finished watching it myself. I was so ready to dismiss it as "Rashomon for Nitwits" (which it sorta is), but I still found it mildly entertaining in a turn-your-brain-off sorta way and perfectly-paced in that it never overstays its welcome. And yes, that was a fantastic car chase scene.

Better than Jumper? Easily. But talk about damning with faint praise. I'd give it a solid *** out of *****. Catch on cable or Netflix it for sure.

So I ended up seeing this on HBO finally...horrible movie. Gimmicky, the "plot" got thwarted in 20 minutes by a lone agent and a bumbling tourist and runaway girl, despite the ringleader's supposed planning.

Haven't gotten around to watching this yet and I can't really say I am very motivated to after some fucking asshole spoiled the movie a while back in one of the Lost threads.
