I thought there was another thread for this movie, but nothing came up.

Here is the Russian (equal: red band) trailer for the movie:

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SgyiRveYZ18&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SgyiRveYZ18&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I didn't like Nightwatch or Daywatch, but who knows, if Timur calms down long enough to focus a little on narrative, it might work out.

Maybe we should combine these threads.

I saw the trailer to this before Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and boy does it look terrible.

I didn't know Timur Bekmambetov directed this. I'll pass despite the fact that I found Night Watch and Day Watch somewhat enjoyable (although I'd love to see them remade by someone that doesn't seem like Michael Bay with a Jolt Cola I.V.).

Even though I don't understand it, the russian trailer is badass...I've been excited about this one anyway, but that redband makes it look sweet as hell.

The red band version is awesome. I was afraid this was going to be somewhat watered down but nope, looks pretty balls to the wall to me.

Yep, it looks like it holds potential. Here is a new featurette (in English) that came out recently.

Looks like fun. A nice R rated movie for the middle of the summer. Count me in. Better than the watered-down PG garbage we usually get.

The US Redband Trailer -

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2GEs1OAkGOg&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2GEs1OAkGOg&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/wanted/ (Red Band is on there, needs iTunes)

There's something funny about Morgan Freeman spouting off "Shoot This, Motherfucker!"

Same Redband trailer minus the YouTube PQ:

<object width="720" height="339"><param name="movie" value="http://www.traileraddict.com/emb/5104"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.traileraddict.com/emb/5104" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" wmode="transparent" width="720" height="339"></embed></object>

Looks like it might suffer from a major overdose of CGI. Then again, I'm just happy as hell to see an actual R-rated summer action flick. They still exist!

Just got back from a sneak preview screening of the movie and WOW...I was very surprised by how good of an action flick this was. Reminded me a little of the Matrix with a little bit of anti society Fight Club mentality thrown in. Definitely exceeded all expectations I had and ranks up there with Iron Man as the best summer movie I've seen so far.

Hmm... this is looking more silly with each clip. So shaq does this all fit together and make sense within the universe this movie's in? It looks like a bunch of stuff just thrown into a blender to me...

I would say most of the things make sense. I mean..this is a comic book movie, so you'll have to suspend belief for a lot of the stuff they can do. How they can change the rules of physics isnt really explained but that didn't really bother me since I was just going along with the ride.

Awesome. It reminds me a lot of Shoot 'em Up. Did you get the same vibe after seeing the whole movie or am I way off?

Just watched the red band. Wow, does this movie look terrible. I like action, but ridiculously over-the-top shit like this is just way too out there for me. It's not surprising considering who this is directed by, but still. Even Jolie's hotness can't drag me in.

Yeah, I got that vibe too. But I would say Wanted had much more story than Shoot em up did, but Shoot em up was more inventive/crazy with the gunplay.
