Always enjoyed the franchise (all three movies) and this looks great too. Can't wait for it!

Looks like it's not even trying to take itself seriously. Which is a good thing in my eyes. Unlike the teaser, the trailer makes it look like fun.

I was underwhelmed by the teaser trailer. It looked tired. Maybe because it was a teaser, but I still think it could've been sharper.
The new trailer makes it look fun as hell. Like the other ones. The remake naming part was my favorite.
This just has to be fun. It doesn't havw to be as fun as the first two, or even three. It just has to be fun, and throw a few curveballs.
I think 3 can be a lot of fun on certain viewings. The great dialogue, and the chemistry between Dewey, Gale and Jennifer. The movie within a movie stuff was fun, but didn't seem as sharp as the previous two, I don't know.
I think 3 had a couple of problems. 1. There wasn't any real huge surprises, other than maybe the killer's indentity. 2. No real brutal moments. The first two movies had two or three scenes that were really shocking/brutal.
I'm hoping 4 will have surprises and brutal/shocking moments that were lacking in 3.

The link is now inactive but I checked YouTube to see if someone else had posted the new trailer, and they did.
A huge improvement on the previous trailer. Count me in as interested. Even though it looks obvious from the trailer that
But I caught myself enjoying it, and as the previous poster said, the chemestry between the original characters was just as good as it has always been. Count me as someone who will be there opening day.

I see the trailer was taken down due to a copyright claim from the Weinsteins. Can someone tell me why companies do this? I can understand pulling the actual movie off the net? But why pull the trailer? Do they not want to market the movie?

They want to build up hype in the weeks leading up to the release, and if the trailers are already well known months before the release. Then the hype might die down a bit as the release date nears, since everyone who wanted to see the trailer already had months ago before the real marketing push began, and their initial charge they got in 'i must see that now!' may have died down since the trailers and everything are old news by then.
However if a film is already released, then I do find it pointless to have the trailers taken down, especially if many of them are not included on dvds anymore, and it's fun to revisit various trailers to see how they marketed the movie and trailers can be fun to view naturally.

It looks like fun. I hated the third so it's nice that this seems like it'll make up for that one.

Hey, it couldn't be any worse than the last two. I'm not sure how much interest it will garner though, as it's been over a decade since the last one.
