I don't know, something about confusing Perry White with "Perry Mason" makes me wonder about its credibility.

Ancestry-wise, Reeve looks to have a bit of German blood in him, while Routh looks to have more of Italian blood in him (mixed with some some English/white to even him out).

Does anyone really doubt that this movie is going to be one of the greatest comic book adaptations ever?

BTW, Kevin Spacey and Lex Luthor is the greatest casting job since Patrick Stewart as Professor X.

I keep seeing people make this point, and I fail to see any resemblence. He looks and sounds nothing like Reeve except for the fact that he has dark hair and is dressed up like Superman.

i'm going by real life. at the movie awards he is a spitting image. i mean i am not saying they are identical twins, it's just the overall swagger and way that is so in sync.

It doesn't have to beat Batman Begins to be one of the best comic book adaptations ever. Hell, it doesn't have to even match it to be one of the best ever. Batman Begins is easily in the top three best comic book films ever (along with Superman 78 and Spider-Man 2).

"Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman" on A&E (6/12, 8-10pm)

This looks to be an awesome special and retro on the Superman lore. I will try to watch it, but def. taping it.

no problem. sounds like it is narrated by Kevin Spacey too! wondering if this will be on the eventual super-duper release.

Just got done watching "Look, Up in the Sky, Story of Superman" on A&E, and it was pretty good. I got chills in the Smallville/Reeve segment. Also enjoyed the sneak peak at some of the SR footage, and test shots. It was humorous to see Jon Peters says that for 12 years he had wrong about the next Superman film, and that Singer/Daugherty/Harris's approach was the right one.

That was my favorite part...although a part of me thinks Peters was selling the current movie, if he had it his way, there'd still be a giant robot spider in it.

Just saw the documentary, pretty good. It definitely solidified that to me, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman. But I absolutey cannot wait for Superman Returns.

After seeing some of the concept art from previous attempts at launching a new Superman movie all I can say is THANK GOD THEY NEVER GOT OFF THE GROUND.

I completely agree. SUPERMAN RETURNS will naturally get some mixed reviews (although the ones posted so far have been more than impressive), but fans simply can't imagine just how bad this flick could have been before Singer set it straight. Using the Donner film as influence and inspiration is the best thing to happen to the movie since Jon Peters got his hand on it.

I'd much rather see this upcoming version as opposed to Tim Burton or McG directing a Nicolas Cage version of Superman.

Any more reviews out there? Surely, with a recent press screening, there's got to be more "official" opinions on the internet.
