Also at the end where she is in the street they mention an advert on the bus behind Milla which is for umbrella cosmetics.
Just thought I would add this.
Im gonna have to check this out for myself.

Well, I noticed that in that spot, when they show clips from the movie, they are from the first one.

I definitely wont be paying to go see it until it gets the "RE game fan seal of approval" in a few reviews...

World Class be let'n ya down, now? Yup. I remember when Darth Vader wasn't a li'l prick trying out for American Idol.

There's worse adaptations than this laddie.

I (for one) CANNOT wait for Project Nemesis!

saw the teaser with texas chainsaw yesterday. it starts out as a commerical for facial cream. then it morphs into a zombie, then we see a clip from the end of 1 with Mila with the gun. then the title. Resident Evil: Apocalypse

From: Toronto.
This movie is being shot in Toronto, so I don't have high hopes for it. (See Tuxedo, Driven, Short Circuit 2... Movies with Toronto exteriors usually aren't very good)

Some helicopter landed in City Hall.
(causing some 911 calls- people thought Americans were invading)
They also closed a major bridge, I think it was for an evacuation scene. People also weren't happy about that.

It is sad that a film could fall to the criticism of people out their. Why does no one think for themselves?
Movies would do much better without all the downed remarks. Why can't it be judged by people like the ones in this forum?
You guys are the real critics!
When i am deciding whether to watch a movie or not... THIS is where i will go.
Oh. PLus I also thought the movie was ok. I think some people, including me, just expect to much from it because the game was so successful.
Mybe it will be like the 2Fast 2 Furious. The second one better. Maybe the first one was to just set the plot. Then the next is to blow you away.

I dont mean to step on your toes but since your new you are going to find that many people on these boards dont like the movies you do. Thats not a bad thing its just having an opinion. If its negetive it really shouldnt bother you if you enjoyed a particular movie they hated. For referance see "I just saw the Punisher and its sucks" thread. Happy posting.

I caught the first one on cable and ended up buying it, I liked it that much. However, if anything, it felt like a prequel for this upcoming movie, which looks like Milla Jovovich spends an hour and a half doing nothing but kicking zombie ass in a destroyed city.

didn't like re but i have high hopes for re2.
mila just did not kick enough ass in the first film. the story took her ass kicking ability away which sucked big time. hopefully this movie will be full tilt ass kicker more in the line of aliens.

I actually enjoyed the first one as a good popcorn flick, though I usually don't like horror movies at all. I'll be interested in seeing the second one.

Enjoyed the first one. Looking forward to second one.

It wasn't what it should've been - if the movie had been anything like the games, it could've been a masterpiece. But I went in with expectations of a corn-filled turd splashed on screen. In reality, there was no corn. So I enjoyed it.

Ok i am just saying that you guys seem to know what you are talking about. I can take people talling me it was good or bad. I have not problem with that. I was just saying that it is fun to read what you guys have to say. That is all. EVEN if you thought a movie was bad.

Sorry if i offended anyone. Just wanted to give my opinion.

No, that is what makes you the critic.
The fact that you will speak it true.

Sony is running a movie poster competition. Lots of HQ clips from the movie are posted.

I guess some could be spoilers, I don't know.

Umm where's the beef? A ton of images from the movie and near as I could tell only one shot of shadowed zombies? The City is supposed to be overrun, I would expect a zombie to be in every shot.

Now why can't companies run promotions like this for DVD covers? Some of the ones out there are just terrible.
