^ Is it still a 'cult' film when it has grossed a gazillion dollars + another gazillion for toys?

Meet the Feebles.
I can watch Dead Alive every 5-10 years and I really enjoy Bad Taste but Muppet porn is just not my cup of tea.

Kids.Oh how I hate thee most of any movie ever.

Overrated, but not bad:

Animal House - It's entertaining and has funny moments, but I honestly didn't think it was anything special. Perhaps the problem is I wasn't part of its initial wave of popularity and saw it for the first time a few years ago. So many imitators has possibly diminished the 'wow' factor here. I don't know.

Monty Python & the Holy Grail - Laughed a LOT the first time I saw it. Saw it a second time, only a laugh or two. Basically, I don't get how people can watch it hundreds of times and still find it hilarious. Or quote the lines from it and still find them amusing.

Overrated and no so good:

Dark City - Beautiful movie. Wonderful art design. Intriguing premise. Yet, this came off to me as a pretentious mess. It's a fine piece of eye candy, but as a film it's dull and not nearly as clever as it thinks it is.
