Neeson has this uncanny ability to play soft spoken and kind individuals that at the drop of a hat could turn into the ultimate bad ass. Even though he was just the voice, I would say Aslan falls into this category as well.

They do actually. Well it looks like Hades is in the same building w/ Zeus..not exactly in the same frame but...they're there together I'm assuming.

The TV ad campaign is in full force now, and this will my first trip to the movie theater this year.

I want to see this, and never had any intention in seeing it in 3D anyway.

Me neither, but it seems to prove that WB made a mistake by not only coverting this in post, but also hiring a novice company to do it in record time.

This worries me, because I doubt my theater will get this in 2D.

I'm okay with that as I refuse to watch this converted to 3D. Had it actually been shot in 3D I'd be all over it.

So does that mean that the newly added 3D scenes will throw off the 2D version? I don't want to see 2D movies ruined with gimmicky shit meant for 3D...

Nothing was filmed in 3D. They converted the whole film in post.

I hope the 2D ticket sales for Clash of the Titans outperform the 3D ticket sales and then the reverse happens to Legend of the Guardians. That way WB will be discouraged from further post 3D conversions and simply shoot its 3D features in 3D.

Unless there were significantly more 2D screens of Clash than 3D, that won't happen. Most people don't know the difference between a movie shot 3D and a movie post-processed into 3D, unless it's a movie being re-released in 3D like Nightmare Before Christmas or the upcoming Titanic 3D release.

I highly doubt WB would fuck with Nolan if Nolan didn't make Inception in 3D. They love him too much right now to mess that up.

The Kraken looks awesome. The rest, not so much. I wish they could have gotten Zack Snyder to direct.

Okay, I would like to thank Solid Snake for posting those I can more or less skip the movie in theaters.

FWIW, if you know the original, it seems like you can put the pieces together as to how it plays out on your own. Kraken scene looked cool, not sure I like the approach they have with Medusa. I was always under the impression that she was a tragic figure who more or less killed accidentally, not some cackling cartoon villain.

I'll still catch this, but at a matinee. Unfortunately, the 3D means we won't get matinee prices. I think WB realized this movie didn't have much going for it outside of the visual realm and that it will sink like a stone after the first weekend, so "upgrade" to 3D and get more buck for the bang. I hope other studios don't follow suit.

Regardless of whether or not I "really" wanted to see this. I'm in between. I just want to see some cool action and be entertained honestly. I'll watch this in 2D and for $3.50 on College Thursdays.

Still excited to see this after those clips. I would prefer 2D but whatever.
