Huge chucky fan and pretty disappointed.. here's the thing... GLEN SUCKS. He was so hideous and just hard to look at, almost ruining the entire movie for me... Billy Boyd did a great job, just his flesh colour and facial features were bad... he didn't look like the son of chucky and tiffany...had they designed a better doll (maybe one that looked more the chuckster) it would have been much better...and belittling Chucky to a supporting character is almost insulting...he's the reason the series has been going...he needed MORE TO DO...

I spent a lot of time trying to decide how I would grade this movie. I finally came to the conclusion that, if you stick with the whole school metaphor, it's like a paper that gets passed back with "Speak with me after class."

Someone explain to me this:
Towards the end it's clear what happened to the puppet's soul (she went in Tilly's body, and Tilly obviously died in the puppet).
So now we have 3 souls, the 2 evil babies and the male (or female) puppet.
It is obvious that the puppet chose to be a boy and entered the body of the baby boy (named Glen).
The evil baby girl (Glenda) stayed as is.
But what happened to the soul of the evil baby boy (obviously now in the puppet)???
They didn't show that at all!!
Maybe in the next one Chucky teams up with the evil boy puppet.
Any thoughts?

what?!
I got the sense that Glen's soul and the evil baby boy merged together - essentially making him superevil.
Also, I thought the decapitation scene was by the far the most engenious cinematic death scene this year.
the "Made in Japan" tag and karate scene made no sense -but of course I don't think logic was to apparent in the story in the first place.

So Tiffany managed to trade her soul with Jennifer Tilly just before she died (effectively killing off Tilly in the doll’s body).
The baby girl stayed the baby girl (and was named Glenda).
Glen was obviously in the baby boy, so therefore traded bodies with him (thus leaving a puppet with a baby boy’s soul).
Glen did not turn evil. In fact he is an "angel" as stated by the maid.
As for Glen’s Karate, he could have learnt it by watching TV cause he thought he was Japanese.

1. Seed of Chucky is a much better film than Bride of Chucky.
2. Okay, that's not saying much as Ronny Yu is a incompetent jackass, who ranks up there with the likes of Paul W.S. Anderson and Uwe Boll. Seriously, ANYTHING would've been better than Bride of Chucky.
3. Nice to see 95% of the cast die before the film's final frame, all in a complete gory bloodbath.
4. Nice Ed Wood (and numerous other horror film) references.
5. Why did the Glen puppet (along with the Chucky puppet) have "MADE IN JAPAN" written on their wrists? Last time I checked, when Chucky was reconstructed in Child's Play 2 and Child's Play 3, everything was done in AMERICA.
6. Class316 is right about the whole doll/baby thing.
7. Either way, the film was watchable, but nowhere near as good as the first three films.

Yeah, it did seem like Tiffany had more screen time, didn't it? And I hate that character... maybe that's way I thought the movie sucked so badly... It’s weird though, because I didn’t mind Tilly playing herself, it’s just the voice acting for the doll she did was awful... her voice makes me cringe sometimes...

Maybe the original doll was made in japan. Remember he was electronic (the doll).
