After seeing the trailer, I think it looks like "Pulp Matrix", and I mean that in the best possible way. Should be a fun movie.

About the ratings: I know it'll be R, not nc-17 of course. I heard there was a LOT of violence in it as well, so we'll see.

Can't wait to check this out. I watched Jackie Brown again the other night and found it to be a much better flick than I originally thought it was.

In other words, it is exactly as QT wants it to be. I'm gonna be first in line.

It's definitely paying homage to the Shaw Brothers kung-fu cinema of the 70s (in fact, they did a lot of the movie on the same Shaw Brothers stage). Add in a little bit of Sonny Chiba samurai sword fighting and Yuen Wo Ping's stunts and put in some QT dialogue and you get Kill Bill. If you're not really into those genres then you may not like this movie.
As for the R vs. NC-17 debate, it looks like the bloody scenes were shot in black and white. Liu says that the blood will look black. That, and some editing will probably land them an R. I'm really surprised that QT and Richard Rodriguez got an R for "From Dusk Till Dawn."

Maybe I'm thick, but I don't get it. I recognize the yellow as the jump suit worn by Thurman, and its got a streak of blood over it. What's the big deal?

Fun teaser poster.
Can't wait for the film. The best part of seeing t3 was getting to see the trailer for this on the big screen.
This October...
Quentin Tarantino...
Will..
Make me a giddy with delight.

Wow, I like it, alot. I love the simplistic look instead of cramming every single freaking actor with their mugs on it
I can't wait to see this, even if it is not really my type of movie!

Kill Bill Vol 1
I saw an advance screening of Kill Bill last night. I must say it is one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in a long time. I was pissed about Miramax splitting the movie in two but after seeing the first part I figure another hour and a half and my f**king head would have exploded. I wouldn't hesitate to spend $9 to see Vol 2.
