Ok, I realize this is a minority opinion, but that trailer blows. Not that it really matters since I know I’ll see the movie anyway.

I think it looks very fun and entertaining. I doubt it will be his new masterpiece, but everyone will probably enjoy the heck out of it.

Has Miramax set a definite release date yet?
The last time I heard was mid October.

You know, threads that start off with "(movie title)......." are cheesy. that also goes along with vague titles in general.

Cheesy stuff indeed. Looks cheesy.. Maybe, but that's what Tarintino does.. cheesy stuff that later on becomes a trend and turns out to be the cool thing.

I guess you can call it cheesy, but I'll put it up with the crappy crowds week one to watch this which is something I NEVER do. I just like Tarantino.

To me, it doesn't look cheesy, it looks campy.

camp = intentional cheese
camp = good

In other words, it is exactly as QT wants it to be. I'm gonna be first in line.

It's intended to be that way.

Either way, I'm so there for the first showing, no matter what.

After seeing the trailer, I think it looks like "Pulp Matrix", and I mean that in the best possible way. Should be a fun movie.

I think it looks interesting to say the least. And I have a feeling the fight scenes are going to be kick ass.

Based on the trailer, I would have no interest in seeing this flick if QT's name were not attached to it.

Based on the screenplay I read I'm not going in with high expectations.

Thanks for specifying that it's TARANTINO'S Kill Bill in your subject header. There are so many other films coming out with that title that I would have been terribly confused otherwise.

based soley on the trailer, does this look like an R rated movie or an nc17 movie? Also, what movie did you see this trailer at?

I think Kill Bill will get some publicity due to a battle over its ratings and all the cuts QT will have to make. The trailer played mostly with Gangs of New York this past winter and will be included on the GONY DVD.
That said, I think this will be a good movie, but a total opposite of QT's Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. It will be more like Jackie Brown in that it is an homage to the old Sonny Chiba action flicks like JB was to the old Blaxploitation flicks. In short, you have to "get it" to enjoy the movie, and that might drive some people away in droves. Then again, QT didn't make this for the masses, he made it for himself and his cult of followers, so screw em!

Kill Bill looks like a blast..

Cheesy? Campy? Who CARES, it looks fun.

The trailer reminds me of Fudoh: The New Generation, parts of Riki-oh, and Tarintino.

Seriously can't wait.

Are you a fan of Hong Kong cinema? Because that's the genre he's making the movie in. Either you like that genre or you don't I guess.
