Another one I heard of are a few scenes in Jurassic Park that many fans swear are in the film. One being Ellie Sattler grabbing the leaf (which is in the trailer) and Hammond assuring Donald Gennaro that the Brachosaur eats "plants, not lawyers."

No one has ever produced the still from FBDO, so we still have no proof that it has ever existed.

That scene with Cameron at the swimming pool playfully checking out Sloane was definitely in the original non sell-thru (rental) UK VHS.
I was working in the industry at the time and we gave out 1000s of preview copies and I had the pleasure of seeing these (and video projector non timecode copies) several times.

Industry sources have slipped us some interesting information, revealing a few interesting titles that Paramount is considering for re-release as Special Collector's Editions in 2005. This information is extremely tentative, but you might keep your eyes peeled for new SCEs of Face Off, Airplane, McLintock!, Hondo, The Truman Show, Braveheart, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and maybe... just maybe... Titanic, among other titles, by the end of next year. (2005) Presumably, those films released previously on DVD in non-anamorphic widescreen will receive new HD anamorphic transfers.
By the way, I totally remember the Sloane/Cameron scene as well but when and where I saw it, I have no idea ... I did see this movie on opening day at the theater but that was a long time ago so I don't know if it appeared in an "early version" theatrically or if was shown in a tv version, but my memory isn't so bad that I can think I imagined it. Just cause there is no proof doesn't mean it didn't happen. Though proof would be nice ...

And I've lost track of the number of people who swear that such-and-such a scene was in Star Wars the first time they saw it... even though what they're really remembering was something they read in the storybook, novel, comic book, etc.

Gurur Askew, I hate to differ, but I definitely remember that scene, and the reason that it worked in the movie is that Cameron was apparently catatonic when she was undressing in front of him. He wasn't hiding and sneaking a peek, he was sitting right there, blank stare, straight ahead. I always thought that she did it as a test, to see if she could get a reaction out of him, and as others have said, she merely stripped down to her camisole and bikini briefs, no nudity. It was definitely tittilating, but once Timecop came out, I think that any Mia Sara fan excitement would be directed at the nudity presented in that movie. The teasing being (IMO) accurately remembered in FBDO would be irrelevant.

Wow, people STILL swear they saw this just like in South Park Season 1 where one of the announcers at the football bgame make a Michael Jackson joke. To this day, no screencap nor sound file exisit....of either Southpark or Ferris Bueler. C'mon guys....How many members does DVDTalk have? ONE of US must have this scene somewhere if it truley does exisit (which I doubt).

99% of the time I would say these are false memories like most have posted. But having seen this many, many, many times on cable, I'm going to have to join the "added content" for tv camp. I distinctly remember this as well.
You can try and chalk it up to puberty and a hot Mia Sara, but I am remembering Cameron's look more than anything. It was very distinct, and others have mentioned that part as well. So I don't think it is hormones.
We all can't be crazy. I had a box of old VHS tapes of movies from cable, including Ferris, but all were tossed last year when I moved.
Anyone have access to the German VHS? Surely it can be had for a couple of bucks. Anyone willing to pick it up for the group? Can anyone confirm that it doesn't exist on the US VHS tape?

If the Powers That Be at DVD talk could wrangle an interview with Brett Ratner, they should be able to get a hold of John Hughes and settle this burning controversy.

It most likley was in the rental copy I dubbed 15 or so years ago, and then disposed of after getting the DVD a few years back. But I absolutely remember this scene. There is no doubt. I noticed immediately that it had gone missing the first time I watched the DVD. I don't normally watch films I have on tape/DVD when they are on TV, so I can't speak to that version.

And a scene like this has ALL the elements of a classic false memory situation.
