The Biggs scenes were also in the Marvel comics adaptation of the film. So was the scene with Jabba the Hutt at Mos Eisley, which really confused nine year old me!

No, he looked like he could have been one of the aliens in the cantina. Kind of like walrus man with a big mustache.
