Being a month since the last update, Saving Private Ryan's finally gotten a lot of support (sure it's a little overrated, but it's still an amazing film)... My fave, American History X, only has 6, so it looks like it's dropped out of competition

The Thin Red Line and The Idiots.
(I know The Idiots wasn't released domestically until 2000, but the 2000 poll is closed and I wanted to mention it somewhere.......and it's not like it'll dramatically skew the overall results one way or the other.......)

Thin Red Line
I missed this in the theatre as (like most people) I lined up for Saving Private Ryan. Talk about a bad trailer as well - they did a terrible job promoting this film plus bad luck on timing.
I didn't even want to see it on DVD. Then someone at worked kept talking it up and I finally saw it.
This was a pretty strong year for movies.
