I don't even think the moodyson has been dispatched yet for mail order people. I think it's not even in stores yet (keep in mind I'm in North America, so I assume it'll be for sale in the next 8-12 hours when the stores open).

Got my shipment notice minutes ago...
I seem to recall that the Brit ver. of Lilya has a long subtitled interview with Moodysson. Never did check the extras on my Swedish ver.

Mine arrived on Tuesday, but I have not had a chance to do more than opening the box and looking at the set. Pretty decent packaging. It is a digipac, I was hoping for individual cases/cover art, but the digipac is atleast nice looking.

I got mine also, and I agree the packaging is pretty nice. I'm hoping to watch Hole and the short tonight. Customs decided to nail me for $18 Canadian however, so all is not perfect over here. lol

Did anyone else have a problem with the subs on Tegether being cut off at the bottom of the screen? I was still able to read them, but almost half of the line was missing. When I had it in anamorphic mode it was even worse and not readable. I was playing it through my X-box on a 4x3 HD set, which I've never had the problem on before, but who knows mayube that was the issue. I also want to say I thought the sound design on A Hole in my Heart was pretty amazing. It was almost nauseating.

-> I popped it in this weekend and I can comment on this. I'm using a Malata 520 which is know for it's proper Pal/NTSC conversion. I have never had a problem. Show Me Love was fine in terms of being able to read the sub's, but what I noticed on Show Me Love was that the subtitles were falling into the black area below the picture. I found that to be a bit odd in that I don't recall owning another dvd in which the sub's where kind of "half way" on the picture and the black area below. The first line of the subtitles was well into the picture, but the second line was about 60% on the picture and the rest off into the black. I didn't find this to be the case on the other films in the set either.

"Is Criterion in the habit of lending out the transfers they create to European or Asian video companies? Do they routinely let them use the extras they prepare, the commentaries they sometimes pay the participants to record? Do they help so that every version released in ever region is as good as theirs?"
moviezzz, MANY companies do this but try to keep it very quiet. And yes, Criterion specifically do this as well. They license transfers and extra out to other companies but don't like to admit it because those releases tend to sell for less.

I just watched A Hole in My Heart the other day (currently it's a Netflix exclusive DVD release) and I have to say I was quite surprised to see alot of optically fogging of products, very MTV-ish. Oddly, only one explicit scene (a full frontal shot of actress Sanna Bråding) was 'censored'. As for the movie, I thought it didn't have much of an impact as I had with 'Lilya 4-ever'. I still have to see 'Fucking Amal'
