Yes the head and the cover ,kubrick and the dvd comes in the strofoam box inside the box!I checked and there is little scrathes on the cover but you can't notice it.Bound to happen if you keep on removing and putting on the clear case!
The box is well made, I have sent one to trigger and the package alone went to 8 kilos!Heavy stuff.I did not want to dmage the box wo I wrapped it another BOX!

Just received my email from Amazon that my Alien Box Set is on its way and Amazon have upgraded my shipping to DHL Express but my address at Amazon is a P.O. Box.

I don't believe DHL delivers to P.O Boxes and have sent an email to them to change my address on the parcel but I think it might be too late.

Does anybody know what Amazon all DHL do in this instance?

Thanks for the info on the packaging guys!

BMatt,

Once you get your tracking number, I'd contact the local DHL depot in you area and advise them that you have an inbound shipment that you'd like to have it redirected for delivery or held for pickup at the closest depot. They should be able to accomodate either request. The sooner you contact them the better. Did you include your phone number as part of your customer information/address information at Amazon? This is also a good idea as it gives a courier a way of contacting you if there is anything wrong with the address, i.e. Amazon misprints it, delivery policies regarding PO Box's, etc.

Thanks Furious for the reply, Amazon does have all my information + phone number.

My letter box is right next to a bus stop and most posties just leave my boxes on the top of the letterbox so there don't have to walk down stairs.

I picked airmail for my Alien box and decided it was safer to have it sent to my P.O. Box for pickup.

How much has anyone been charged to re-send one of these massive buggers? as I am gonna have to go into the Post Office and ask, and 9 kilos is a lot, and have no idea how much its gonna be to send it, so how much were you charged? anyone?

Someone is using your pretty Alien Head Photos to promote his ebay auction. It's up to you what you wanna do about it.

That's depressing

One guy on the Something Awful forums had his entire eBay description lifted (including links to his webspace, where the photos were hosted), so he changed the files on his server to ... less than tasteful pictures

Pretty great revenge, but I don't think it applies here, unfortunately

Thanks for the heads up, but it looks like the pictures were changed already.

I really wanted to switch in some horrid pictures too.

Edited to add: Looks like they are using some of Kumars though. They were saved and uploaded by the seller, so kumars bandwidth is not being stolen. So it seems a no harm/no foul.

Here is the auction...only 800 bucks!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...818790458&rd=1

And there is another for 1100 hundred dollars

I think my $200 Alien head is quite good enough when compared to the $1000 model.

I couldn't put it in the basket either. So, I completely emptied my temporary internet files folder, restarted the computer, and tried again. And it worked! .I was able to place it in the basket.then, after that it was plain sailing.

Thanks IDrinkMolson for the heads up. Do what I did, Bill Geiger and Giorgio. Hope it works for you.
