I got my copy today and just finished watching it. The subs are excellent. Great surround sound and a beautiful picture. I think they did a really good job on the transfer.

No need to bother with eBay or overseas sellers. Poker Industries is now selling the official DVD.

I'd say about 2 days, if they're lucky hehe. I just placed my order, so I should get it before they make them pull it.

HKflix has it now and it's cheaper there. Johnny from DDDHouse said he should have it back up again soon.

DVDShelf has it up now on DVD in case anyone's interested. It's cheapest from DDDHouse at 90HKD shipped.

I'm not seeing the DVD in stock at DDDhouse. Any thoughts? Is DDDHouse the most reliable, inexpensive, and best shipping?

Geez - that was quick - it was in stock and now it's gone. It must be a hot item and he can't get enough of them. You can email him to ask when it'll be in stock again and he'll email you when it is. I've bought hundreds of DVDs from DDDHouse and have had nothing but good experiences. DVDShelf is a good alternative and only a few bucks more... some claim that DVDShelf is better about shipping. I have issues with them though because on larger orders, they'll just not ship certain items that aren't in stock rather than hold the order till it's complete. DDDHouse is more flexible.

I've ordered about 7-8 DVDs from DDD and 2-3 of the DVDs are questionable. One, they don't look original and second, they would lockup sometimes. I checked the disc, no dirt or scratch. I stick with yesasia.com or dvdasian.com since I've dealt with them many times and never had a problem.

DDDHouse NEVER sells bootlegs. They are always legit. I've ordered a few that have come DOA and Johnny has always replaced them. HK dvd publishers don't have the budget of US publishers and some older DVDs would be pressed on cheaper media - not to mention that some older DVDs were transferred on really old and crappy and dirty equipment. Trust me when I tell you that DDDHouse sells only legit releases. The Hero DVD you can buy from them is the same one available at other online stores.

Yeah I guess so. One of the movie, "Needing You", is fairly new movie and I can't believe how cheap the cover and disc look. I guess Mei Ah is a suckeke company

Yeah - Needing You came out a few years ago right before Mei Ah improved the quality of their DVD releases. They started out with these blue cases with ugly gold colored artwork, then moved up to slightly larger blue cases with a more pleasant colored artwork scheme - white with different colored accents. Now their DVDs look proffessional. The Needing You DVD itself wasn't that bad. I think I did a review on it a year or so ago.

You're right. All of my Mei Ah DVDs are the POS blue case that looks like bootleg. This is one of the DVD I was having problem with the lockup.

I'm a huge Sammi fan (s***, I got all her concert DVDs and many of her movies and CDs). Needing You is a good funny movie... silly at the end but still good.

Is this Extended version released in R1 or R3?

Does any current or upcoming versions have dts?

Does the R0 Hero have traditional Chinese subtitle?

I am asking this because I have pre-ordered R3 HK Hero from dvdshelf already. The website says that the released date is March 28, just like what cd-wow.net says

BTW, cd-wow.net is selling it for 15.95 shipped, but of course it is R3
