that's the exact date of my preorder, but mine has always been scheduled and still says by Tuesday 2/1. weird. i'm sure yours will be the same, tomorrow or Monday, i would imagine, when they ship you'll get update..

That's kind of what I was expecting. For $100, it's a lot of money for two catalog titles I already own in UHD and one new film. Thought the box might be a cool collectable. It clearly is not.

You’re forgetting the set has two exclusive bonus content discs that weren’t previously released. Plus a reprint of a Making of book that’s been out of print for decades.

Which is exactly why I bought it (and sold off my Steelbook to offset some of the cost). I couldn't care less about the packaging.

Anyway, got a shipping notice from Amazon.

You think Ghostbusters 1 + 2 are the "Mastered in 4k" versions with the extras?

I have Ghostbusters in the first release on bluray version only and don't own 2 on blu as of yet.

just got this at work today. holy shit! you guys had me worried this was gonna be some kind of paper stupid nothing container. the cardboard is super thick and the unit is pretty nice actually. opens and closes well and sturdy. sure, it's not plastic or anything, but it still holds up well and houses the set inside nicely. going to fit in perfectly with my sets at home. you guys are nuts if this is total shit packaging. it is not imo.

Bill Hunt confirmed that this was indeed a "Limited" set and it's completely sold out. I know not everyone wants to spend $100 on physical media, so I understand that some here were probably hesitant. But, oh well.

Okay, done beating that horse. By the way, the Preview Cut of the first movie is pretty cool, very interesting to see a bunch or new shots and stuff. I’ll be tackling the TV Broadcast version next. The content on this set is pretty great.

I opted for the 3 disc collection without the bells and whistles after I missed out on the limited set. Money talks though and I imagine if enough clamour for it they will release more or the extras in another way. For now, I am most interested in seeing the workprint and doc on the making of the franchise, etc. then anything else. Soooo, we'll see if the bonus discs show up on Ebay as the Friday the 13th set did.
