Also, Best Buy seems to be one of only a small number of large/well-known on-line stores that still has the set available for pre-order, so if you are interested you should pull the trigger.

As a precautionary measure, you could even screenshot the product listing page (or take a photo with your phones camera) so in case BB sends you the three films, but just shrink-wrapped as a bundle you can say you have a screenshot of their website page for this item that shows a UPC that is attached to the Ultimate Collection set.

At the very minimum, that should allow you to return anything they send you that is not the Ultimate set.

If you are able to pre-order, but the expected ship date to you is estimated to be weeks after the day it is officially released for sale you should assume that you ultimately might get a notice from BB that they will be unable to complete your order and of course they will simply refund your money or will not charge your CC.

Yeah, BestBuy Canada had it listed for the $99.99 price but I waited one day too long before finally deciding to snag it and now sold out online. Amazon.ca jacked their price up by $60 now and, alas, don't price match so couldn't get them to bring it down. Waiting to see if the price drops again here in the Great White North or at least find other places that sell movies online here. We seem to be basically limited to Best Buy and Amazon now.

That said, the big Friday the 13th box was the same thing for me. Saying shipping like a month after release but a few days before it changed again to release day and actually came two days sooner.

My delivery notice from Amazon says February 1, which if accurate is wonderful news. Fyi, I think there is a listing for the Ghostbusters steelbook that is around $27-28, and it might ship direct from Amazon so it is a legit listing. I could not find the Steelbook listing for the 2nd film, unfortunately.

They have a listing for a blu ray set of GB 1-3 for a decent price. The great news is that if you skipped out on this set there seems to be no shortage of GB 1-3 blus/UHDs that will be available.

I know a lot of folks just want the films and nothing else, no fancy box or booklet, so plenty of purchasing options exist. As far as this set, I suspect that it is indeed sold out at Amazon and they will be getting no more of the Ultimate Collection, but again there are plenty of listings for folks looking at picking up the films individually.

February is turning out to be a solid month for blu/UHD releases for me, this set, and Alligator are expected to ship in February, looking forward to watching.

I've seen 'em. While I don't want the bulky packaging all those extras would be great and am pretty sure only part of this set soooo hanging tight to see if this comes back for $99.99 anywhere in Canada.

Just got mine delivered from Best Buy today also. Box was pretty smaller than I was expecting. Nice display for the shelf. Has green lights inside so not sure how long that battery will last. Looks like it's a Ghostbusters weekend.

Based on that video I think the box looks great. My ship date from Amazon says March 4th but I’ll bet it’s moved up to the next week or two.
