I have seen a few, video quality is impressive for sure. But kind of sucks cause you realize how poor production values are and notice how obvious sets are or how bad lighting is. Good stuff overall tho.

I bought a few with my last Vinegar Syndrome purchase because I got them cheap. One was called Jungle Blue and it just wasn't good but the other movie I got was called Frat House and it was actually a fun watch since it's a porn parody of Animal House.

When I saw last night VS was doing a limited 4K (ala "Beastmaster") I jumped over to the site and was ready to order. However, I checked out a you.tube video someone posted that featured scenes from the film and as it jogged my memory I kind of backed off ordering it.

I remember when that one came out. Definitely a little cult movie. I can't seem to remember where, but I know that title came up recently in something I was watching or reading.
I'll probably use my subscriber discount and pick it up.

If I remember correctly Six String Samurai used to show a bunch on IFC back in the late 90s. I want to say it was their equivalent to Beast Master. This was back when IFC actually showed movies and didn't have commercial interruptions.

I decided to take a chance and ordered Beastmaster. It stands at 919 copies left of its limited edition run on Vinegar Syndrome's website.

Well the Halfway to Black Friday sale has officially started. I'm in one of the VS collector's groups on Facebook and someone was complaining when the Beastmaster LE box set was gone in the first half hour. People were waiting for it to be part of the sale and missed out on it over a difference of $5.
They did annouced a standard edition is now available.

My Prosepect / Summer Camp Girls discs shipped a couple of days ago.
There's nothing I want from the new release announcement, so made an order for some more of them erotica BDs.

I posted this in the sale thread, but it might be more appropriate here:
Any recommendations for partner label films that are on sale? I was considering a few. I'm not too familiar with them, but some of the descriptions and trailers are intriguing.

I imagine Adam should have some solid recommendations, as he seems to order a fair amount from them.
So far, I've only ordered their UHD releases (except Sex World and Prospect, neither of which particularly interest me). Added Scanner Cop 1&2 to my order today, though.

Checking vschecklist.com, I have 42 of their releases total, so...more than a little, less than a lot? At least in terms of their total output, I guess.
If you're into slashers, check out Cutting Class, Graduation Day, and Christmas Evil. A little lower down the list would be Pledge Night (gloriously trashy but not in the same tier as the three above) and Madman. I haven't picked up VS' release of Slaughterhouse, but I did love it back in the DVD era. And if you like your slashers with a sense of humor, Ice Cream Man and Jack Frost are difficult to resist.
Raw Force is always my top VS recommendation: a completely gonzo kung fu/zombie/action flick that defies description. Wonder Women would be worth recommending if you've already seen Raw Force, although I don't think it's in quite that same league. Dolemite's pretty essential as well.
I've been a longtime fan of The Children since discovering it on USA Up All Night thirty-ish years ago, and it still holds up really well today. If you're into movies with killer kids, it's a must-see.
If you have a taste for the schlockier end of the spectrum, Demon Wind and Mausoleum are well worth seeking out. Liquid Sky, if you're feeling adventurous and art-y. All their UHD releases are a blast, but Tammy & the T-Rex and Dial Code: Santa Claus especially stand out for me.
Controversially, I think I'm sitting out this sale, but we'll see if I buckle before the weekend's out. I've gotten so many movies recently that I'm not hungry for more right now, and I'm not head-over-heels with this month's slate. I'll definitely be picking up Surf II at some point, though, and I might cave and buy the Scanner Cop double feature anyway.

I think I have 25. I’m boxing and organizing tomorrow so I’ll get a more accurate count. I think out of the those the only ones I really didn’t like were Blood Harvest and Hellriders. I’ll probably watch them both again before I try to sell them.
My favorites were Blood Games and Berserker.
