Re: What's wrong with my thumb?

Your thumb is too blurry to diagnose, I'm afraid, but I'm happy to see you made that doctor's appointment for the 9th.

Is that monitor a CRT? Who uses CRTs in 2015?

Learn to focus your camera.

Also, it's a tumor.

My local Target and dentist office. They still have a VCR. I know it's crazy, sometimes I miss analog.

That was the first thing I thought too when I saw the pic. I wonder if he still has SDTV too instead of HDTV.

It is an LCD monitor. A 15" vintage LCD... but an LCD.

And don't fucking forget David's birthday on the 28th. Like you did last year.

Maybe he's a professional video colorist. Most video production is still based on CRT gamma curve and video display range.

Re: What's wrong with my thumb?

Please replace current pics with the blurry ones you posted originally. Your thumbs are going to give me nightmares.

Re: What's wrong with my thumb?

I still can't see the goddamn thumb in clarity. Can't you just... put the thumb further away to focus it? WTF, man?

Re: What's wrong with my thumb?

In contrast to longitudinal ridges, Beau's lines are horizontal or transverse depressions in the nail that may be confused with nail ridging. These are caused by diseases that affect the entire body, including malnutrition, heart attack (myocardial infarction), severe infections, and metabolic disturbances, including poorly controlled diabetes.

How long it been like that? Do you have psoriasis? Any liver or heart troubles? The rest of your nails have dark beds too?

It looks perfectly normal. If you recently hit it with a hammer.

Re: What's wrong with my thumb?

It could be any of what Bronkster listed or it could be a simple fungal infection. Go make an appt. It is the only way to know for sure instead of asking otters.

...and...wow, that`s a 4x3....classic.

Re: What's wrong with my thumb?

Bronkster wins the thread. It's definitely Beau's lines. I have the same thing on one of my toes. It never goes away. It's just stupid and annoying. It showed up for me about 5 years ago.

Oh and I have the same damned alarm clock as you OldBoy. Now THAT's disturbing.
