Well good news is that I got my mid summer subscribers week sale purchase. Bad news is that it didn't include the Showgirls replacement discs. I guess I'll be sending them an email about it.

Have they started sending out replacement discs already? I have not received my replacement. I thought it was going to start being sent out sometime in August?

I'm pretty sure on the website they said they would ship out in Mid July. I'm in a Facebook VS collector's group and some people there have mentioned receiving the replacement discs already. It won't hurt to send them an email about it.

Anyone get their sale items? I placed three orders and nothing has shipped.

Yeah, mine didn't have it either. I also sent an email as I figured it'd be in there.

Well the new website Melusine is now live. It looks cool and is very well done. I'll have to get use to all the new labels they have now on the website.

Not even a shipping notice yet, dude. Of course, I'm not a subscriber, I didn't do a pre-order of the latest titles, it was just catalog items for me.

We kindly ask for extra processing time following major sales & events like Summer Subscriber Week. Our warehouse team is working hard to ensure all orders are shipped out in early August. You can be sure we have received your order and will ship it out as soon as we can. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

I got a response from VS, there was an issue with my address in their system or something (probably linking my account to when I purchased Showgirls). Anyway, they gave me the option of either sending the disc out now or wait for the August subscriber box, so chose that one, I'm not in a rush to get it anyway.

Well I finally got a response from my email to Vinegar Syndrome. They said my Showgirls replacement discs will ship in the next few weeks and they'll even send a tracking email once it ships.

I wonder if that timeframe applies to everyone who purchased from them, or if this is a "squeaky wheel gets the grease" situation? I haven't bothered to email them yet. Maybe I should.

They're great about sending replacement discs. I think they're just moving slowly because this is on such a larger scale than other replacements they've done in the past.

My summer sale items finally shipped over the weekend, so yeah, just be patient. They're getting to them.

Cool. I think my order will be in my mailbox when I get home from work today. I'm really hoping there's more volumes of Televised Terror. Especially more 70s entries. It's hard to remember that there was a time without premium movie channels, video rental, and of course no streaming services. If you were a teen or preteen horror fan, you were screwed. All you had were late night airings of old Universal monster movies, 50s giant monster movies, and maybe some Hammer. There was no way in a 3-channel world you were gonna get something like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Black Christmas. Those made-for-TV horror were all you were gonna get. And most of them have been sadly missing in the home video, DVD/Blu Ray era.

How long do they usually take to ship something that is in stock? I placed an order 10 days ago and still haven't gotten a shipping notice (I've reached out to them two times already with no reply as of yet).

Well normally a day or two, but as you can see from the chatter here, they recently had a major sale, and they're still fulfilling orders from it. I just got my stuff from that sale (first week of July, BTW) shipped last week. Good news is that I'm a non-subscriber and on the low end of the totem pole, meaning they've gotten to most of the shipping from the sale. So you should probably expect something to ship in the next week or two.

I got my stuff on Friday, and I'm surprised to say I enjoyed Shriek of the Mutilated far more than I expected to.

My order placed on 8/2 finally had a shipping label created this morning. I'll take everyone's word here that this isn't "par for the course" when it comes to shipping. I paid the higher shipping cost too. I will say their CS needs some work. I emailed them three times with zero responses so far. I only know my label was created because I checked the item status.

Finally got the email that my Showgirls replacement disc and booklet has been shipped.

I got the same email too. I'll probably have it some time next week.
