That said, I thought Vamp looked quite good, all things considered. The selection of extras was pretty nice as well - Deedee Pfeiffer is as adorable as ever - but I don't think they need to include opening and closing credits for a 25 minute featurette.
Excessive DNR and Brightness boosting seem to be the main complaints I hear.

I own Arrow's BD releases of Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and City of the Living Dead. That's it, since it was around the time after City of the Living Dead came out, when I heard lots of mixed reviews on their BD's.

Arrow Academy will be releasing The Conformist later in 2011! Also, Bicycle Thieves has been pushed back again to 4/18.

DVD Beaver on Bicycle Thieves - Yet another mixed bag from Arrow transfer-wise. The extras look very nice, however. If it drops to under 10 pounds I might pull the trigger while waiting for the Criterion upgrade.

DVD Beaver on Diabolique, which is actually Region B. Another reason to wait for the Criterion, which I'm sure will have the superior transfer.

In terms of specifics, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage requires some work whilst Arrow add the Kim Newman and Alan Jones commentary. Arrow weren't happy with the encode for Tenebrae so they have increased the bitrate. They have been experimenting with the 5.1 track but it won't work because Arrow's version of the film is slightly longer than the previous Anchor Bay version. This means the audio will not synch with the picture and so is not usable. The upcoming bank holidays may make things a little difficult in terms of liaising with other companies so these revised release dates are subject to change. It's all about ensuring these releases are as good as they can possibly be, so the revised release dates are:
