Re: DVD Profiler?

The last couple of new releases I bought (Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and Deadpool & Wolverine) were ready in the database for me to add after I did the CTL+Refresh Online Profile List thing. The software seems to be working, except for the automatic refreshes. That has to be done manually using the CTL key..

Another option that I decided to go with years ago is simply to not catalog the movies you own. For me, there just wasn’t enough practical value in spending the time.
Even though I use MyMovies now, I don't care enough about my DVDs to convert them over.

Re: DVD Profiler?

EDIT:
I see other's have mentioned this.

But, yes only way I can get updates is to CTRL Refresh online profile list

EDIT 2: Years ago I tried exporting to BR's site, and it was a mess. They could only accept certain file sizes, so I ended up deleting them from there.

Re: DVD Profiler?

Grateful for the "CTRL" refresh tip. I had resigned myself to the lack of updates.

I was shocked to discover this morning that incremental profile updates seem to be working again. That is, I was able to select "Refresh updated profiles from Invelos" to get just updated profiles, without needing to first download the entire updated list (the "CTRL" refresh tip you mention).

This has been broken for so long that I assumed it would never work again. (Although as a software developer for 40ish years, my intuition told me this was likely not a complicated server-side fix).

I posted on the Invelos forums and a couple other users did confirm it is working again for them too. Whether this is "permanently" fixed or it working is merely a temporary glitch in the matrix, only time will tell.

Re: DVD Profiler?

My collection doesn't load. Maybe they're having temporary issues?

I switched to a different app when I started collecting 4K.
