Re: UHD release announcements

Glad to see a physical release but I’ll take a standard 4K with a slipcover.

Re: UHD release announcements

So many announcements! Along with April Fool's Day above (which hopefully isn't a 4/1 joke):

I am tempted to get both Robocops

They were not great but what the hell.

You would have to hold me at gunpoint for Robocop 3

I’d take Robocop 3 any day over the remake.

Re: UHD release announcements

Shout Select did a great job with their Matinee Blu Ray release with slipcover. Wonderful film that is worthy of a 4K release, but I would only double dip if I could grab on sale for a heavily discounted sale price.

Glad Species II is no longer going to be OOP despite it not being a good film, but my 88 films blu set is pretty sweet and will tide me over for now.

I wish Robocop 2 was a better film, but on sale I would strongly consider the Robocop remake which was entertaining enough.

ETA: Might grab the 4k Monsterverse set as I feel they are all entertaining enough and worth a rewatch.

Re: UHD release announcements

^Such an awful but hilarious movie. 4K release is pretty laughable for this title but I am sure it is still making a lot of people happy. I remember there being a good commentary on a prior release.

For those wondering, this has the same content as the version from the Columbia Classics Vol. 2 box set.
