Re: DC Animated Universe Films

I wonder if that means Ultra HD Blu-ray or if it's limited to UHD streaming/downloads. A UHD BD release would be terrific to see, but it would be kind of surprising.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

There is no way it was animated at 4K resolution. It will end up being an upscale.

Barnes and Noble lists a UHD BD release, though there's no accompanying artwork yet.

Batman and Harley Quinn still looks fun. The more I hear of Rauch I have mixed feelings on her take as Harley. Some parts she sounds good but other parts are iffy.
I agree. It's as if she's doing the Harley voice one minute and goes into another voice the next.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

It's the same on Big Bang. She ramps up the Bernie voice for key scenes and then goes back to just Rauch for all others. This would have been so much better if they had just got the original voice back like they did for Batman and Robin.

I'm sure WB thinks that by attaching a fairly well known name from a popular show they'll be able to sell some extra copies.

Come on! Just clean up and release Mask of the Phantasm in 4k! Why waste time and effort on this?

Dang. Had I not just picked up the individual one for The Dark Knight Returns I might have pulled the trigger on Vol 2.

Watched it yesterday afternoon with my son (he was sick and had a fever so he couldn't go to daycare). It's okay. I don't feel bad about the $1.99 I spent, but I'm glad I didn't spring for the Blu-ray either. (and really glad there wasn't a steelbook available)

Anyway, it's basically three episodes thrown into a 75 minute "movie". The first one deals with the origin, the next one is a year later when she's fighting crime regularly, and the third one deals with the Fire Totem & Weather Wizard. It's alright, just nothing special. Like it's been said, Flash & Arrow make appearances as do Black Canary & Atom (which make no sense if we are saying this is the same universe as Legends of Tomorrow). I'd give it 3/5.

Oh, and I would rate it very slightly TV14...there is use of the "B" word one time, and I think a couple of Damns...but nothing too awful. No sexuality, no graphic violence.
