Man Of Steel
Well that was fast.
Amazon France already has the Man of Steel Limited Edition Home Entertainment box set listed. The Limited Edition set comes with the DVD, BluRay, BluRay 3D and a Collector's Statue 134.99 Euros. Also listed is the set without the statue for 34.99 Euros. At one point, it showed it was available in October, but that has been removed and now just says "Available Soon." What version of the Home Entertainment release do want to get? (If you have pre-ordered the DVD/ BluRay through Walmart, it lists a release date of Nov 1 on the pre-order link.) https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...76313726_n.jpg |
Re: Man Of Steel
Thought this was news on the release I'd be buying here. I'll just see my way out.

Re: Man Of Steel
God forbid a thread title would contain useful information on what the thread is about. But at least we now know that "Man of Steel" will eventually, at some undetermined date, be released on home video in France.

Re: Man Of Steel
Come on Rocshemp. I'm disappointed in you with that thread title.

I hope that statue is Zod's dildo pod or whatever the fuck he was jailed in.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
They should've just gone direct-to-DVD in the first place.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
Waiting for a Steelbook on this.

Re: Man Of Steel
There is already a steel thing available for pre order at Walmart.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
Hope they don't use that artwork for the US release
|
Re: Man Of Steel
I think we may get a few different releases of this with different artwork. I could see Target and Best Buy having exclusive bonus discs with different artwork, etc.

Are those Happy Meal toys?
|
Re: Man Of Steel
I love how the gift set doesn't even come with the 3D version. So you're spending an extra $29 for two ugly little figures.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
I'll pick up the regular combo when it get's to $9.99 during the next Best Buy U&S sale. $5 is all it's really worth to me.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
I saw the 3D version in theaters and didn't think it was worth it. I'll opt for the regular combo pack. I might even spring for the ugly figures. :o
The Walmart/Vudu pre-order had a date of 11/1 originally. I'm glad it's moved to 10/15. Also, separate BD for extras. |
Re: Man Of Steel
This has Black Friday price drop all over it.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
Since it is a huge Warner Bros movie the price should drop.
I hope it is $19.99 for the combo during release week and not $22.99 or $24.99 which seems the standard price for all Warner Bros combo pack new releases. I get those gift sets will end up as dead inventory. |
Re: Man Of Steel
Let me guess...the 3-D version will have more extras?

Re: Man Of Steel
If its $19.99 release week I'll probably get it. I liked it enough and think it has decent replay value.

Re: Man Of Steel
They should just eliminate the Blu-ray/DVD Combo and just sell the Blu-ray and at a cheaper price.
Buying Bu-ray/DVD combos is like buying a CD and then getting the 8 track in the same package. |

Re: Man Of Steel
I'd like to see a lenticular digibook from Target with Supes and Zod on the cover, similar to TDKR.
In terms of combo packs, I would like to see all studios provide us with either 3D/2D + Digital Copy or 2D + Digital Copy versions. |

Re: Man Of Steel
How is it worldwide if it's a ComicCon exclusive?
|
Re: Man Of Steel
Meh. I don't like most fancy packaging and really dislike that one.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
I foresee that being on clearance at Best Buy for $9.99 one day.
|
Re: Man Of Steel
Where the heck you got that info?

Re: Man Of Steel
So were people who attended Comic Con were able to purchase that already? Even though MOS is still in theaters and the BD release date hasn't been announced yet.
