Irritating that I paid full price, but at the same time I don’t feel bad supporting Shout directly versus feeding Amazon more money.

I had made up my mind that I didn't need this set being content with the previous one (the tin). And then this lightning deal popped up for me and I caved. Had enough Amazon credit where it really didn't cost me anything out of pocket. Far and away, the most I've "spent" on a media set of any kind. Merry Christmas to myself!

That's how I feel. Try not to 2nd guess your decision to buy it from Shout. I know the majority here look for deals and thought the Shout price was too expensive, but you helped support a small label that needs support from it's fans to stay in business. And even though we paid $50 more, if it helps get more quality product out there, I'm all for it.

We pay enough to Amazon already as the middle man.

On other forums, the same people I see complaining about their B&M stores Physical Media sections dwindling, are the same people that wait for Amazon to Price-Match (or better) these B&M's exact sales.

Are the discs for Freddy Vs. Jason (2003) & Friday the 13th (2009) the same as ones that were in the old Tin Set?

FvJ is the same disc as the one that was originally released by itself. The tin set disc has a DTS-MA track instead of Dolby TrueHD. The F13 '09 disc is exactly the same from the two releases before.

Including the now-dead BD-Live link. I love how they make it look like there is a problem with your setup when you click on those, when the reality is that the systems are offline on their end.

Got all 3 discs today. That was quick and easy. Swapped them out and threw the defective discs in the drawer.

Got the shipment confirmation 4 days ago, but just says "Label Created, not yet in system". But this being USPS, probably did ship out and they never scanned it.
