US has both Ultraviolet and iTunes. I won't insult you and ask if you flipped your iTunes insert over to check. I thought I only had iTunes until I did just that.

Yeah, I checked the back of the insert. It only has an ad for the Tarantino XX collection. No UV code.

I think going forward maybe someone should open a Blu ray "Packaging Options" thread. I really don't care for what packaging a movie comes in or if it has scratches, (you guys are loony, I say that in jest) but I understand everyone has their own preferences. Is this thread full of packaging talk because this particular release has many options? Or do guys drive yourselves crazy with every release?

While I went for the steelbook for Django Unchained (I love digibooks and steelbooks), the film is what I care about the most. I would've rather had TWC focus more of its energy on providing quality bonus material rather than coming out with 500 different retail exclusives.
And yes, I throw away most slipcovers. Unless it has something unique on it (like most 3D releases), I could care less.

I'm just worried they might try and start some trend by cutting deals with separate retailers and splitting up the extras just like here. All together, the extras are rather nice, and would have been great to have on a second blu. But splitting them up AND putting them on DVD only is just a lousy ass move.

My copy at Walmart rang up $18.96 this morning. They only had 4 copies out. 2 of my Targets had 0 BD copies out. Probably some in the back, but it looks like this one will be a big seller.

FYI, I also went into Walmart today and it rang up 18.96 (even though it was labeled 22.96 and scanned at 22.96 when I was at the same store on Tuesday). They still had a lot of them in the big display right by the front door. I didn't go look what they had back by electronics.

Close to a 4 hour movie but maybe only 45 minutes of bonus content unless they took out some bonus features for Netflix rentals?
I assumes Tarantino would be big on doing bonus features for his movies?
I don't think Inglorious Bastards had a lot of bonus features either.
