The Amazon listing only lists 4 discs, but hopefully (especially since Amazon's disc count isn't generally that trustworthy) that's wrong since that would mean it doesn't have the bonus disc featured in other regions.
The bonus disc was a region locked DVD. Considering that Warner tends to not region lock their titles (unless they have no choice), I doubt that disc (which featured episodes of Freddy's Nightmares, amongst other extras) will be included in the US set.

Again, with it being independently produced and released, I doubt it will be included.

Owning the UK set, I can say that even without the bonus DVD, it's a good set, and worth picking up if you like the series.

I already have the UK set and the Blu-Ray of Never Sleep Again, so pass.

However, Warner has always region locked their DVDs outside of the Archive Collection. The DVDs are locked to region 2 or 4 depending on which set you've purchased.

There could still be hope, even if there's less bonus material on said disc.

I've somehow avoided buying the DVD set, had it in my cart dozens of times over the years, but never checked out. Likely purchase for me.

The Mexican release has a bonus disc with the same contents in NTSC and I believe it's region free.

Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Collection > 10/2/12

The WB link is still good but I don't trust them to not just cancel it shortly before the release date. Even if it did go through, they wouldn't ship until it came out, so that adds at least another week. Guess I'll wait and see if it's a BB exclusive. Amazon hasn't cancelled my order yet but since the page was pulled, I don't expect it to pan out.

I'd be a buyer at $20, not sure if I have even watched the original DVD set twice in the past decade.

I thought you were crazy until I saw how high they jacked the price up. If WB still has the link up when it comes out, I'll try ordering with the $10 off $30 coupon and free shipping.

The WB link is finally dead and Best Buy dropped the price to something reasonable.

It's $44.99 now on the BB site. My Amazon preorder was for $44.61, which still hasn't been canceled.

Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Collection > 10/2/12

My amazon order hasn't been cancelled either but they haven't put the product page up, so I'm not expecting much. They'll probably cancel it after it came out.

Troma had a page for Mother's Day up for a long time and I pre-ordered it from one of my gold chest deals. They cancelled it last week because instead of using the original product page for Mother's Day, they made a new one, which is the one they started selling it under, so I lost out on the discount.

Or they may leave it on preorder status until the Best Buy exclusive window ends. But since they're about the same price, I'd rather get it earlier.

In addition to the seven movies, it will include a bonus disc with the all new featurette “Fear Himself: The Life And Crimes Of Freddy Krueger.” The featurette will be an in-depth look at Freddy Krueger, his mass appeal on pop culture and how there has never been another villain like him in film.

yes i seen someone post it there but very odd still i just called bestbuy they looked up the sku and said 0 copies in transit and on order for my stores and other 10+ stores in my entire state so it looks doubtful stores will even have these unless that changes.
