I wonder if Batman Begins and The Dark Knight will get digibook releases as well. It's the one type of special packaging I'm a sucker for and would rebuy them for. I'm probably going to end up with multiple copies of The Dark Knight Rises

Best Buy steelbook. I'm probably getting this one since it'll have the Reborn doc, which I'm guessing will be an exclusive bonus disc.

That's what I'll be getting to match the other two Best Buy steelbooks.

There's apparently a member on SuperHeroHype Forums who has very reliable WB contacts, or at least industry contacts. He mentions this about the "Reborn" documentary:

It's a documentary done by a third party for Best Buy. Essentially revisiting the creative history of Nolan reinventing Batman and the impact the trilogy has had as a pop culture phenomenon. Nothing really new information wise, but should still be a very nice and interesting piece to have. Especially since most retrospective pieces like this won't be released until The Ultimate Trilogy set next year.
And goes on to say what we can expect in that Ultimate Trilogy box set:

Word is that there are additional bonus features/documentaries that encompass the trilogy as a whole. There were other things noted that may or may not come to fruition, as they are not set in stone.

Regardless, they're working on additional material. So save your money, wait for the Ultimate Trilogy.
No mention of remasters of the first 2 though.

Hmm. I guess I'll simply rent the December release of TDKR and hold out for the Ultimate Trilogy release.

The Digital Bits has an article listing some titles that WB has planned for 2013. They have the Ultimate Trilogy as a Q3 release. So it's going to be quite a wait for that set.

That's what I assumed. I'll go ahead and get the trilogy set cheap on Amazon and if the Ultimate wows me, then I will just sell it.

I have the 2 Best Buy steelbooks of the first 2 movies, so I'll probably get the steel for the 3rd film. I'll probably skip the Ultimate set, unless the first 2 are remastered, which I doubt they will be.

TDK had 2. BB had 1. The DVD SE for BB had 2 discs. BD had one though.

So TDKR alone has only one disc?

That link only gives off that there's one based off the pics and what the customer said on it from those pics. Looks like it was just 1 BD in that set. The regular BB BD.

I was going off the product description on Amazon that says 2 discs... However I pulled up the back on blu-ray.com and it says nothing about a second disc. So back to the original question... no idea what the 5th disc contains. lol :D
